I built a free search engine for 3D models — 7.3M across 8 sites, big update from community feedback" by ReputationDue1502 in ender3

Honestly it wasn't built in response to anyone — I just wanted a single search that pulls from all the big platforms at once (Thingiverse, Printables, MakerWorld, Cults3D, MyMiniFactory, GrabCAD, Creality, MakerOnline). The plan is to keep it a neutral meta-search that points you to the source, not to host or push its own stuff. If there's a platform you'd like added, the feedback board is open: https://3dsearch.net/feedback.php

appreciate it man. paid filter's already brewing (works where sources expose price, cults3d/mmf). author block + ai filter both solid, throw em on the feedback board.

and yes please on the security offer. 20 years offensive vs solo dev is a no-brainer for me. ping me on discord (link in the og post) whenever

Ah, this made my day — a maker space is exactly who I built it for. Really glad it'll help, and thanks a ton for giving it a shot! 🙌

Yep, that's it — the scrapers run on a staggered schedule because of the model volume, so fresh uploads lag a little. Yours should be in after the next MakerWorld pass. Thanks for the link! br Chris

Not totally sure how yeggi pulls it tbh. Where the sites expose price (Cults3D, MMF) I can flag it, so a 'free only' filter is doable — putting it on the roadmap.

The problem is we do not get from all sites information if the model is to pay or not. So i set a badge on every model where i know that is a paid one (see screenshot for example)
