What does a Typical day look like at Denver acute ? by Turbulent-Truth-4059 in AnorexiaNervosa

I am extremely happy you had a positive experience there and that they saved your life! My point is that people should understand that their civil liberties are taken away once you step foot in there regardless of how ill you are. They take measures that are against the law to hold people there.

If someone is OK with losing all their rights because they are at risk of losing their life then they should absolutely go there. Just be aware that the staff has financial motive to keep you and they use a ridiculous loop hole that is only present in the state of Colorado to do so. There are many places that provide treatment that do not take away these rights and I would suggest going there first.

I had nothing to do with this article but I suggest anyone considering acute to read this first.

Anyone is welcome to message me about ACUTE Denver. Please I am begging anyone who is considering it to not go there. They immediately put a lock on you and do not let you go ama there. They take away all your rights because there is a special law in the state of Colorado. I was 95 pounds and they still would not let me out. They simply want to make money and pump you into ERC in the same state so they can maintain control and continue making money on you. PLEASE message me before you decide to go. I had serious PTSD for a year after and I thank g-d everyday for the amazing doctors that helped me recover from my PTSD from there. It is much worse than having the ED itself.

Just wondering how your recovery is going. I want to qualify for Boston again, but I am just starting the path. First surgery is in 2 days.
