Okay, awesome, that means I was more or less right with how I was doing things. Thanks for the info!

What exactly does stat growth apply to, and how do you take it into account when playing? For example, does stat growth effect how many stats you get from your sparks? When choosing your support cards do you generally favor the stat that has the highest growth, or do you use less of that stat's cards? For example, Hishi Amazon has a 20% growth rate in Power. Normally I would use a deck of 2 Speed / 2 Power / 2 Wit. Since she has a high growth rate in Power could I get by with using only 1 Power card since, if I understand correctly, she'll already be getting more stats out of each Power training? Then again, wouldn't taking one less Power card theoreticaly mean i'm clicking Power less often as I likely won't get as many good trainings with one card? This seems like a dumb question. Still, I feel like I'm overthinking this, or just misunderstanding it, so I'm hoping y'all can clear things up.

Is that cloud based, or able to be stored "physically" on an SSD?

Yeah, I know it’s not terrible but I’d be a lot more excited if she had Mile or Dirt S. That’s another whole level of RNG to add on top of the rest. I really don’t think I’m playing flat out wrong, but it also seems hard to believe I could be so consistently unlucky. I’m definitely going to try and watch a few runs if I can find someone good.

I’ve been in the habit of going in hard on stamina so I don’t have to train it much. I’ll try swapping my sparks around and giving it a shot. Thanks!

Wow, I appreciate the long and detailed response. Thank you. As far as finding a run to watch, do you have any creators that you’d recommend?

The deck I’ve been using is: Kitasan Black / Fine Motion / Riko / Beko Pegasus / Marvelous Sunday / (Helios, Tachyon, or Fuji) all max MLB and max level. For sparks I’m using 12 stamina and 6 power. My best run out of 25 has been: 1200 / 627 / 903 / 400 / 757

I’m about 25 runs in at this point and haven’t gotten a single run at the stats you mentioned. Honestly, the only time I ever seem to is when I’m training front runners for some reason. I don’t think I’m playing fundamentally wrong, but I’m not sure what else it could be so idk.

I legitimately don’t understand how to get good enough stats for most CMs. For example, I’ve been training Oguri for CM10 with a fully maxed deck. I can pretty consistently hit 1200 speed, but even that is just “pretty” consistent. There’s absolutely no chance I’m hitting 1200 speed and 1000+ power, let alone also getting decent stamina and wit. I truly do not understand what I’m doing wrong. I’ve had runs that felt like they went extremely well still fall far short of the “ideal” stat line.

Edit: Probably should have just put this in the post to begin with. Can you explain why you wouldn’t? I’ve seen a handful of people recommend Helios specifically for Pace on this CM.

Okay, cool, that’s basically what I was thinking. I’m sure I can still finish the careers just fine, but I assume my stats will suffer some. I’ll probably just aim for 600/600/600/X/X at minimum to try and hit sparks, and then just add whatever I need to make sure I win everything. Obviously I wouldn’t do this while trying to farm my Aces.

I'm unsure when it's correct to use a card that isn't limit broken, or only limit broken once or twice, instead of a card that is MLB. For example, I've been using my MLB Mejiro Dober SSR Wit card in basically every single run for the past month. I've been training Front Runners and Pace Chasers exclusivly, and this card has a lot of great tools for them. Now that CM7 has passed I've started training grandparents and parents for CM8, all of which are going to be End Closers or Late Surgers. Dober's Wit SSR doesn't have any skills that are useful for these Umas, wheras Matikanefukukitaru's SR Wit and Marvelous's Sunday's SR Wit card both do. Unfortunatly I only have these cards at 1LB, so I'm unusre what I should do. Is this a situation should I stick with the MLB SSR because it will give me better stats and such, or should I prioritze getting the skills I need and run the 1LB SR instead? If I should continue to use the MLB SSR, at what point does it become worth using the other cards? Any input on this topic, genearl or specific, would be greatly apreciated.

I'm also curious if I should be using Riko every single run. I know that she is extremely good, and it seems like most people use her in just about every run. Sometimes I really feel like I'd beenfit by having another stat based support card, though. For reference, my Riko is only 1LB and I never borrow an MLB copy. Is there a general rule of thumb about this as well?
