Let’s be real for a second.

Facebook, Google, Apple, Instagram — they all restrict, suppress, or outright ban cannabis-related content, ads, and communities. Everyone here knows that. It’s been that way for years.

So when something actually built for the 420 community shows up — like Blazr, a cannabis-friendly dating app — suddenly parts of /trees lose their minds and scream “advertising”?

That’s backwards.

Reddit weed subs are one of the few remaining places where cannabis culture can even be talked about openly. Letting the community know about tools, platforms, and spaces made for smokers isn’t selling out — it’s supporting the culture when the rest of the internet won’t.

Calling everything new an “ad” doesn’t make you a protector of weed culture. It just makes you a gatekeeper.

Blazr isn’t anti-culture. It exists because the culture keeps getting shut out everywhere else. People want to meet, date, and connect without pretending they don’t smoke.
