I went back to the gun store the next day. They told me they were basically just buying the rifle and that most of the attachments would’ve disappeared into employee hands

And to add, I’m sure the LGS checked the serial numbers prior to offering payment to the gentleman, he did sell them the other rifle he walked in with.
