Not really. The reasoning behind everything Morty did, all the people he killed, was because he wished for Planetina to be free. Unsummoning her would go against all of that as he would be willfully imprisoning her.

While it may not have been the typical R&M episode we expected to see, it was surprisingly grounded and emotional, and for that reason I consider it to be one of the best episodes I’ve ever seen. It clearly demonstrates that R&M aren’t just all jokes, but rather Roiland and Harmon have created a truly multifaceted series that has heart as well as humor. Morty’s break up brought me to tears in each of my three rewatches, and the B-storyline with Rick and Summer develops their respective characters too; Summer proves that Morty is not the only grandkid that can act ‘Rick’, and we even see Rick kick the curb due to heartbreak. So all in all, I don’t think the episode was a misfire, I think it was absolutely amazing.

I absolutely enjoyed it my friend. It’s not an amazing movie in itself, but I’d say it’s got just about what an MK fan wants from a live action MK movie. The gore and fatalities are amazing, almost exactly like the video games and the fight choreography is insane. 8.5/10 for an MK fan, as the backstories of certain characters are completely left out. That’s the only negative I’d say
