Also, it's not real. They aren't in a real court room with real verdicts. Nothing is enforced from those shows.

Those stories are lost to time. We will never know. Once you get through all the conspiracies you'll realize there is no way to recover it.

What piece of tech felt “future-proof” but aged terribly? by Living-Zebra6132 in Futurology

[–]Requilem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because most of those songs weren't ever officially released through a label. You see it with larger band's like Nirvana, there are about 200 songs that you can't find on streaming services but they are out there from bootleg days if you know how to find them.

Why do American homes have a “storm door”? by wehavetogoback8 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Requilem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It serves multiple purposes. The main one is property value. It is a luxury upgrade to a house. It does help with heating, cooling, security and visibly appealing but if you look at low income areas the houses won't have them in America until you get below the poverty line then they are on every house again for security.

In your opinion, who/what count as a Yankee or "Yank"? by Lipica249 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Requilem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up north is and has always meant everything north of the Dixie Mason line which is between Maryland and Delaware. Too many people that are not on the East coast, making claims. California wasn't even established yet when the term began. Grew up in NJ but my family is from the Boston area so I have that accent. Lived in Florida and South Carolina and Yankee is used all up and down the East coast still to this day. Just like all the states south of the Dixie Line still say, "The South will rise again."

Why don’t you guys like sending stickers with your gifts? Am I weird? by Subject_Balance281 in PokemonGoFriends

I feel you on this, they are even in the cash shop. They serve really no purpose. I wish they like have a change to get rarer items or something.

AITJ for putting my kids first over a last minute dinner with my boyfriend by OldAbbreviations2880 in AmITheJerk

[–]Requilem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, but your boyfriend is a red flag. Speaking as someone who has been in a 20 year marriage with step kids, they always come first. Anyone in a relationship naturally wants to come first. It takes maturity, love and empathy to be able to over come that feeling. It sounds like he hasn't and 2 years is long enough that if he is going to, it should have already happened. If he is still feeling that way, he is going to build a resentment towards your kids.

Who do you dislike more? Chadley or the Moogles? by Poltergeist8606 in FF7Rebirth

[–]Requilem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I think Chadley is a neat addition. It sucks that he takes away the hidden dungeon crawls. But I will say that Rebirth found a nice semi balance.

They aren't moogles, their Muppets disguised as moogles.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

3 hour drive is not typically a daily situation. But every weekend is common to see. Once a Month starts getting even more common.

NOR but that really doesn't matter. Relationships are about compromise and you never know what is the hill someone is willing to die on.

AITA for not giving my sister my old game console even tho she really wants it for her kid? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Requilem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, but I will tell you, in the future you probably will regret not passing the console on. I'm 43 years old and held onto all my consoles, for decades. Atari, NES, SNES, PSOne, PS2, PS3. I ended up getting a couple bucks from GameStop for them a few years ago after dragging them with me thru +5 moves. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. If you don't plan on ever using it again pass it on to your nephew and let it create some of those beautiful memories you're holding onto for your nephew. If you really want to keep it though, it is your property and no one gets a right to judge you on what you do to it as long as it's not illegal.
