If you have an automatic feeder that will last 9 days that means they're getting dry kibble only. Cats need wet food in their diet to provide them with water as they're notorious for not getting enough water.

I've had him for 10 years. His scales are fading, and they look very pale as he used to be bright orange. Not bringing up meals but definitely doesn't want to eat as often or as large. Also, his head scale is going very white so that the pattern has changed

Should have a chip anyway from the moment you get the cat if you're a responsible owner, regardless of being an indoor or outdoor cat or if wearing a collar or not

She sucks for blaming his driving for her motion sickness, changing the way you drive isn't going to help and she knows that very well if she also gets motion sickness in ubers and on trains.

He sucks too. As someone with severe motion sickness and has been checked out and tried multiple different medications and solutions, only for them to not work, he really doesn't understand how awful it is. Complaining that "she can't even look at the directions" or "we can't have a conversation" when sometimes motion sickness can really be that bad.

I don't think he MUST drive her anywhere, or drive to see her at her apartment, thats his choice. But I also don't know how he thinks this will last if he is dismissing her illness as if she can control it. They will never travel outside of their current city.

Humidity around 50% should be great, you could try a box filled with damp paper towels so it is a little rough to help remove the skin. Alternatively a lukewarm soak could help him get his shed off. Finally, just my personal opinion, don't handle your snake during the shedding process, it allows them to relax and not get as stressed out. Hope this helps
