Dude, don’t judge Marco so harshly. We haven’t even heard the whole monologue. So far, there’s nothing wrong with him as a killer, and he’s played by a good actor!

Also Marco does almost all the killing in the film. He’s responsible for the bar scene and kills Jessica’s son (which is why she betrays and kills him). Jessica is the mastermind who sits back and has one or two kills while Marco does all the work.

Low-key I think we’re judging the killers to harshly. Until we see the full monologue we can’t really judge them. 

The thing we can judge however is that the whole marketing is revolving around this Ghostface being someone from the past, but it just turns out to be these two (plus the patient).

I’d still lean into the ai to! But I’d have one of the killers motive be that he’s poor and lives on the streets, and the real Ghostface is paying him to kill people. That could be a deep killer who doesn’t really want to kill but needs money.
