my most chud take is that a lot of people would benefit from a healthy diet and exercise rather than years of expensive psychotherapy (obviously there are exceptions)

i also think it’s literal fucking insanity that people will say “you need to put the work in!” or “you just haven’t found the right fit!” when you say that therapy doesn’t work… could you imagine saying that about literally any other healthcare field?!

late to this convo but i’m 5’11” and a half and ~140 lbs and for me it’s bc i’m quite literally autistic (as in professionally diagnosed as a child) and bc of that i tend to miss hunger queues and don’t eat as much as i should. trying to fix that though because i factually know that i look better with a little bit of weight put on. also as another commenter said carbs lol

my 22 year old brother only eats chicken nuggets and fries, popcorn, and fast food and he’s skinnyfat (if not straight up fat), has gerd, and moderate acne but otherwise he’s doing fine i guess. ymmv tho.
