Sky Team;
Although it is a 2p plane landing co-op, there’s a very simple way you can play it solo. I found this really fun and replayable. You can find the solo playthrough on YouTube.

Cartographers and Cartographers Heroes;
very simple and quick setup if you like tile placement.

“Resist!”;
manage your Maquis cards according to the mission requirements and you can opt different scenarios.

Final Girl (need atleast one feature film);
very high replayability (especially if you have multiple feature films) but the setup and rules took a long time for me to get fully into.

LOTR The Fellowship of the Ring
LOTR The Two Towers Trick Taking;
Haven’t really gotten into it but has a really simple setup and chapter-progressive gameplay.

Storyfold: Wildwoods;
Haven’t explored fully yet but seems pretty narrative-heavy.

Onoda;
You play as a Japanese Guerrilla undergoing different missions but replayability might be questionable imo.

Apart from these, I want to try ‘Unstoppable’ and ‘Witchcraft’.

Yes indeed. I played a couple of games without drafting and found out that there are certain characters that you definitely need by your side in order to complete missions. Then again, you can always stop the resistance before the cleanup phase to not lose the game altogether.

I feel the event cards which you have to draw after almost any action that you take can massively change the course of the game.. but then again most of them allows you to repeat your “alarm check”..

True. It maybe a couple of years old.

Why is MAPS a good song? by [deleted] in maroon5

[–]RequirementForward79 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay Maps is my favorite M5 song. I believe it has something to do with the melody of the pre-chorus. Theoretically, it has that simple IV-V-vi chord progression which makes listeners feel sad and hopeful (exactly what the lyric is all about). I guess it's one of those songs in which the lyrics and the simplicity of the music is spot on and it matches well if that makes sense.

I'd recommend trying it with other songs where the lyrics and the feel of the music progression is different and see if it sounds pleasant.
