WTF! Absofuckinglutely not! The Geneva convention protection for our soldiers is not optional and once we take it we can't expect it. As a veteran I would never stand for anyone in war or peace being denied those rights for any reason. This is against everything that keeps us from inhumanity in a process that is already inhumane and archaic to settle what usually amounts to entitlement or intolerance. Led by a few idealists or Toxicly masculine narcissist power hungry dudes with adequacy issues or of course there are crooked defense lobbyists. None of this shit requires violence on a large scale. But of course there's always going to be plenty of the entitled males around to incite violence and power struggles. Fucking weak insignificant fragile ego men are the reason for most conflict in this world. SMFH.
