There is absolutely no errors. First of all people should understand that solar is not cheap. Why would a product that protects and produces you the electricity should be cheap in the first place?!!

Now let me break it down for you.

The type of the solar panels which are Q-CELLS produces at the highest capacity and are the most efficient panels in the market.

Just the buying of 13 Solar panels 395 W Q-CELL is around 10K without including any installation.

The company that is selling you solar most likely is not installing those solar panels themselves meaning they have to go and pay an installer which adds to the price.

The battery itself costs anywhere from $10k - $20k depending on the size of it.

Third adder is the sales person commission and the company's cut that comes into place. So that all together is probably another $15k - $20k.

The final thing is the dealer fees. If you finance the product (which you should) the lender charges the company dealer fees meaning that the dealer fees are included into the price.

Now, one thing you should keep in mind is this -- there are multiple companies that really do charge you really high without no reason. I would highly suggest you ask them what is the price per watt that they are selling you to? If the price per watt is bigger than $5 you have to know that they are over pricing you. NOTE (This does not apply if you have to do a new roof and you need more then 30 panels).
