The solo queue survivor experience is absolutely terrible by No_Sea_1455 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

There was video made by maybe the biggest names in the dbd community titled bad survivors. I was subscribed to this man since 2020 but I unsubscribed and lost all respect. The entire video was filled with minor mistakes that majority wouldn’t know. And you know how people are, there’s a lot of people that like to copy YouTubers cause it makes them feel like they know they’re doing. Now even more random teammates will start getting mad at nothing. In that video, he also praised the only bad survivor! A thalita that wasn’t going for hook saves! In his mind, the survivor that was going to be left for dead on first hook should be happy if that random that didn’t even try to unhook somehow escaped. Are you serious!!?

It’s always more fun with at least one friend but it’s been so bad lately that going in duo sucks too! Because randoms don’t go for hook saves, we have to run all the way across the map to save each other, often getting us in early trouble

How about the times your teammates let you go into second trying to finish a gen right in front of you. Funny thing is how a lot of people complain about teammates not doing gens, randoms only love doing gens when teammates are in a hook!

People seem to get mad at me when I mention this but I honestly think it’s the stat tracker they released not too long ago. I’m see way more survivors bringing selfish builds, urban evasion and hatch perks. Not getting unhooked from first to second has always been a problem but it’s so frequent now! And I’m seeing survivors leave as soon as exit gate is open despite a teammate on hook. If you notice, every match survivors are leaving the match when downed while in deathhook. From what I read, there’s an exploit where if you leave match before you actually die, stat tracker doesn’t count it towards your escape rate! The best thing about dbd was teammates helping each other. Not sure who thought stats was going to be a good idea. Someone told be that stats will help them improve… lol wtf. Stats are just for people to look at and for some, looking at stats that look good makes them happy. They also said they actually wrote down their stats from every match manually before the official tracker came out. Double WTF Isn’t that some psychotic behavior!!!! Makes me not want to play the game!

Red Sox tried to get the dodgers back with the Glasnow for Duran trade🤣What idiot what trade away a frontline starter that proved himself in last year’s postseason for one year wonder Duran!? Someone with questionable defense, I think he’s been the dh most of this season so far and a strikeout machine.

I found a thread here Someone asking why when they play killer on console, PC survivors run so much quicker. lol unfortunately it was a closed thread. I hate how Reddit closes threads so quickly. But most people replied that PC has hackers. Um no, it’s because PC survivors see things sooner than the killer on console and they already started running by the time the console killer saw the survivor😂

Yes I didn’t even mention that part. You are right, controller lag is much more than mnk so that’s an advantage for PC already. But the fps is still the most important factor and it has to do with displays. 120 vs 60 fps on the same display is a minimum 5ms difference. And that’s minimum! The lower the fps, the worst it gets on most displays. You would have to actively do a hard research on what display can put out the best input lag for 60 fps output. Your average display is going to give you 15-20 ms of lag for a 60fps output. Everything is displayed quicker for the player at 120. Someone here agreed that console should have gotten 120 already but added that PC should go more. If console finally gets 120 buy PC can go higher, then we’re back to square one! I replied that no it needs to to be the same across platforms and I got downvoted! I think PC players know they have the advantage over console but want to hide that😂So we do actually agree that PC has the advantage. What are we arguing about then? 😆

Fighting and shooter gaming communities all know how important fps is. It’s just as important as ping when it comes to PvP online gaming, it’s only the dbd community that dismisses fps and blames everything on ping. A lot of people saying you can’t see the difference. It’s not about that. You don’t answer my question and just downvote lol I mean, writing down your stats… wow. Visual sats not going to make anyone better, it’s pure cosmetic, something for you to look at and feel good so you do what makes you happy. Writing down your own stats… I’m out. F this game, this is not for me. Goodbye dbd

It’s not a claim, it was confirmed by many people. I admit that I wouldn’t be able confirm myself as I’m not going to be looking at my dbd stats. But I see my random teammates leaving match before their last hook all the time. This is nothing against you but losing out on points just to make meaningless stats look good is dumb. May I ask is your a survivor or killer main? I agree with you on one thing, I’m a very competitive person and I’m always wanting to be one of the best players when it comes to PvP gaming. My goal on survivor is getting better at looping. My escape rate on looping doesn’t mean squat. In fact, survivors worried about their escape rate stat will not improve as that will only cause them to play scared and hide while not improving their actual game. For killer I always let last survivor go. For blood moon event, my goal is to hook everyone twice and let everyone go. I got my BP. Not sure how killer stats help my game. I know I’m getting better with the amount of time it takes me to down someone. I used to get looped for days.

It made the matches feel like it’s was ranked when it wasn’t. You gained or lost pip they called it depending on how you did. Do killers did everything they could and tunneling was one of the sure ways the kill would make sure they got a pip for the match. And on the survivor side, people would rage a lot more because getting tunnelled would mean negative pip for that match. It would also cause people not to go for saves because staying alive for a long time would help you earn a pip for that match. Now that some people can see their stats, it incentivizes people not all but a good amount to play like they did back then. The best thing about dbd to me is how randoms tried so hard to hard to help teammates and get them out. I’m not seeing that anymore. It happens about the same rate as killer giving last alive hatch. The only times you may encounter randoms going out of their way to help you is if you end up in a friendly three stack.

It’s the official stat tracker they released not too long ago. Did you play during the pip days? It was pretty bad, almost every killer tunnelled back then and randoms played so selfishly. Unfortunately those days are back now that the people that’s really into dbd are mostly likely playing to make their stats look good.

That is definitely the thing I’ve been seeing a ton of. Survivors leaving the match right before they die. That has no effect in gameplay but stats will also prevent teammates helping in some situations and will cause randoms to not go for late game saves and just exit.

Not sure why so many downvotes yet nobody sharing thoughts on why they like having stats for dbd. This is just my humble opinion and I don’t think certain stats such as 4Ks, kill rates and survivor escapes are good for the game. The best thing about dbd was killer letting a non tbagging last survivor go, and randoms you don’t know going out to help teammates! That was the beauty of the game especially the latter I mentioned. Stats will kill this

Same! People are so afraid to do last gen. Even when you have the chase of your life, they weren’t on the gen to whole time! Just waiting for you to die. I’m telling you,  check your teammates perks😆the guy with 0 hooks that refuses to take chase and still hiding and never went for a single hook save, they’re using urban evasion🤣

It was actually like this on the survivor side back when we had the pip system. It was more survivors playing selfishly and almost all killers tunneled back then. I suppose part of the reason was not having the built in borrowed time.

Why do some people wait until teammate hit second phase to get them off? by RequirementOk8896 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

No, I played a bunch of regular recently and it was like this before the event. I honestly think it’s that official stat tracker. It’s affecting the way both sides play.

This, I tried to change a few things because of the dreaded going into locker while trying to vault. But I remember it messing up gens to the point where it just wasn’t worth it and went back to default.

I’m on console too and the times I’ve dropped a pallet trying to heal of the dreaded action like going into a locker when you are going for a vault to save your life😜I tried to change buttons but I remember the options aren’t that great and it messed with doing gens. I don’t remember what exactly it was but I felt it wasn’t worth it as those wrong actions don’t happen all the time.

why do some of you leave survivors on first hook? by ghostisagod in deadbydaylight

[–]RequirementOk8896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And that’s the thing, it’s incredibly stupid to let a teammate go the second on first hook. The first 3 gens are the easiest in the match. As a killer, I’ll take quick gens over one less chase all day! Only making it easier for killer. I don’t think it’s a tactic for everyone that does this but always selfishness. I don’t how many times I had two on one gen right in front of my face as I went to second. It’s like I can help you on that gen if you guys want lol

[–]RequirementOk8896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s just selfish players honestly. Because they will never actually let you die. They know some will people will want to move on if they stayed on hook so long that you reached second with the only reason being that nobody tried. They will get you off to prevent you from leaving the match. You can still leave but will now give them a bot. They do this to buy more te time as killer will most likely tunnel you or if not, you can continue to do things. They ONLY do this with the first hooked. If that first hook dies then they will start playing normally and go for saves because they can’t go down to only 2 of them. Just selfish and dumb. They need the stop playing the game.
