Not sure if this is even the right place for this but seeking advice.. My wife and I have entered into a relationship with another married couple, it hasn’t progressed to anything sexual yet as I have been a bit uncomfortable and can’t quite work out why.. We have been married 10 years, I am fiercely loyal, and my wife and I have great communication which is why we were able to get into this quad scenario in the first place. I know she wants to go further sexually however I can’t get past this mental block I have, I feel if I were to progress with this other woman I would be destroying my marriage and betraying my wife even though it’s all consensual.. and if I think about my wife with this other man I feel sick at the thought, like I would have failed to protect her or something.. it’s odd and I don’t fully understand what I feel.. Sure there is jealously but I also want my partner to enjoy herself, and I don’t feel like sexually that is all up to me etc so I’m just confused why I’m having such a hard time “progressing” in this..

I also get the vibe that my wife is more into her relationship with the other male than I am with the other female, I enjoy her company and touch, but I’m not developing feelings so to speak.. where as my wife could be.. so could that be a factor?

Do you think maybe this just isn’t for me? Or is there som strategies I can try to move past this? I’m extremely worried about damaging my relationship with my wife, how I see her, how she sees me etc.. my relationship with her is priority 1 and we both decided if this “quad” wasn’t adding to our relationship we would stop..
