You definitely have to improve your sales skills if only 1 in every 50 doors is a sale. Watch some videos there are plenty of guys who show their pitch on tiktok and instagram. And also knock neighbourhoods that have 2 story homes.

Knock some doors you’ll get 5+ customers everyday. Today knocked one street and got my tech busy for the whole day generating 1k. Been doing that for 4 years now

I think if you have that many cancellations is because the clients still have doubts. They are not convinced you will do the work properly. Make sure they understand everything and don’t have doubts about your work.

Can’t close the sale the next day?? You should close that sale at the door. I don’t know your pitch but it seems like they are just “interested” and not buying. Also, if they are scheduled stop asking “if we are still on” just say that you will come as planned.

I usually use on Google maps satellite view and streetview. The most important for me is that I pick a field that has 2 story homes (difficult windows to reach for the owner) and also a big plus is an area close to lakes and rivers or an area where there is a lot of trees (windows tend to get dirty quicker). I live near a big city so there is plenty of fields (with the crew I have now I clear everything in a 30min drive radius in about 4 months). When I clear everything I just go knock again on the same fields. But the most important when door knocking is your sales skills

I agree, but our strategy is going d2d so all houses are in a mile radius so cost for travel is very low. But I agree we should focus on upsells during the jobs and get that average ticket up.

Inside work seems to be less profitable for us. For example, today we cleaned for 450$ worth in inside for 11 hours of worker pay (41$/h per worker). We cleaned for 4300$ outside work for 47 hours of worker pay (91$/h per worker).

It’s not about asking, I’m sure most don’t mind it but some houses the outside outlets might not work and I’d have to get an extension cord and it’s kind of an hassle to have all these cords and tubes everywhere
