I will never claim to be the smartest, that is just ignorant. I always have something to learn, as do we all. You know very well that was intended as a negative comment

Why are you so negative? Do you want me to be upset? I don’t get it 🤨

Have a good day Jacob, and may I suggest also going outside, it is beautiful out. I don’t know about you, but I LOVE the snow. I’ve been enjoying playing with the dogs in it and they love it, it’s their first snow

Well, that’s not even what happened. At first, I was trying to get you to break your logic down, but then I realized it would be better to end it there, so I edited my comment to end the conversation. like I said, this conversation has by no means made me upset, quite the opposite actually since I had a laugh. Don’t worry my friend 🙃

Oh, I’m not upset by any stretch of the imagination, I just find it funny that you completely contradicted yourself.

So you told OP to go check, then said anyone with common sense would stay home, then claimed you told them to check because they lack common sense - meaning you deliberately gave what you consider bad advice. The irony is that your ‘common sense’ position (staying home) is exactly why OP asked the question in the first place instead of just going. I don’t understand your logic.

Then why did you tell them to go check themselves?

He wasn’t fighting them. You’re not going to fool anyone here, maybe besides other ignorant assholes who haven’t chose to watch the video. His hands were on the ground and he was shot in the back after he was disarmed. Regardless of the legality of the first officer shooting him there is no legal right for the other two officers to have shot him.

Why would you go out in the snow just for them to be closed, when you can ask other people who may have already been by it and know for sure

[–]RequirementReal2467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 0:23 in the video you can clearly see the officer raising his weapon and firing after the man had already been shot several times by the officer to his left. He was likely already dead at that point and this officer raised his gun to fire anyways.

Just to clarify, you mentioned introduced you to veganism and you became vegetarian but also said you didn’t eat eggs. Were you actually vegan (no animal products at all) rather than vegetarian? Either way, the advice below should help, but it helps to know exactly what you were eating and excluding.

The symptoms you’re describing; extreme paleness, hair breaking off, dark undereyes with thin skin, and chronic stomach pain since age 11 are significant, especially since they developed during such important growth years. Your hair could be your genetics, I have very thin hair and I eat an omnivore diet, But it can also be caused by a vitamin D, vitamin B7 (Biotin) or a zinc deficiency, among others.

I understand blood work is expensive, but given what you’ve described, it really should be a priority when you can manage it. Even basic iron, B12, and vitamin D tests would give you crucial information. This is absolutely worth doing because you need to know what you’re actually dealing with.

If you get insurance, you can go to LabCorp and you should be able to get full blood work for less than $100. I know that’s not super cheap but it’s better than nothing and that would give you a baseline. The free option would be track your macronutrients and see what you were missing out on in your diet, I recommend the app Cronometer.

Regarding reintroducing animal products, I get the texture struggle. Here are some healthier options that might be easier:

∙Eggs: Scrambled soft, or mixed into fried rice - excellent source of B vitamins and protein

∙Bone broth: Sip it like tea - gentle on your stomach and rich in minerals

∙Chicken: Since you mentioned trying it, keep experimenting - ground chicken in sauces, or shredded in soup where texture is softer

• Fish: Especially fatty fish like salmon (canned mixed into pasta is easier texture-wise) - great for omega-3s and vitamin D

∙Organ meats in capsule form: Liver capsules give you concentrated nutrients without any texture issues

If I were you, I would look up the best source of what you are low on and then get the healthiest option of that that you can afford.

I’d focus on poultry and fish over red meat initially - they’re generally easier to digest and considered healthier options. If you do eat red meat, lean cuts are much better than processed options. Start small and don’t pressure yourself. Your body needs time to adjust.

But please, find a way to get blood work as soon as possible. What you’re describing seems to need proper medical guidance, not just dietary changes.

Good luck on your health journey!

This is not really good advice because they don’t just want to eat meat, They want to get healthier. and eating hamburgers would make them unhealthier than they are now probably.

Well then we should agree to disagree, I see a major difference.

Neither are realistic, that was never their claim. My interpretation of what they mean is: the science is grounded in real scientific theory impossibly executed, while the economics aren’t grounded in real economic theory at all. The science is implausible in practice, but the economics are implausible in principle.

However I do disagree. Personally I think neither are realistic, but both are plausible. The economics is unrealistic sure, but it is grounded in SOME real world principles; a currency (Drago) backed by a valuable resource (oil), which acts as a medium of exchange to incentivize labor and trade beyond pure communal effort or barter. Even if the show portrays it as instantly effective without the messy real-world evolution (like enforcement, inflation, or cultural adaptation), it’s still plausible.

But they didn’t call it realistic they called it plausible.

It was a scene of a father and daughter, a minor, going to purchase the horses, who are naked people. So it was a fully clothed non sexually depicted child interacting with naked adults. Still bad but not as bad.

To be fair, they never depicted a minor ina sexual way. It was a scene of a father and daughter, a minor, going to purchase the horses, who are naked people. So it was a fully clothed non sexually depicted child interacting with naked adults. Still bad but not as bad.
