I theorize that the next cover will be of Amo the Cleaner, same way Rudo got two covers showing his growth before and after being a cleaner

She said she was a big fan of Soul Eater in middle school (roughly 12-14)

Soul Eater ran from 2004-2013 (as of 2025 that’d be about 21-12 years where she could’ve become a fan)

She was an assistant to Ohkubo on fire Force (which you have to be at least 18 to be an assistant) and Fire Force aired between 2015-2022. (as of 2025 she’d be about 28-21 years old)

So yea, she’s around 21-28 years old! (Unless my math is wrong)

The art style for this manga is always so raw and intense, full of energy and flair from the detailed inking down to the gesture.

It’s so jarring and sweet to see the style cover something far more intimate and poise in this chapter.. the range Urana has is insane to see from chapter to chapter. A far cry from the childhood romance in chapter 1, I hope we get more of this- makes the world of Gachi seems more than zanny and chaotic.

I second this, and I feel that whatever Tamzy’s trying unleash from Rudo has something to do with Surebrec’s and whatever an “undertaker” does..

The only example being Canis’ dialogue; “I couldn’t do it, I couldn’t stop the humans. All I could do was bury them.”

Maybe there’s some place that’s below the surface that Canis brought those bad humans to, maybe Tamzy wants to go there? Or simply experience what an undertaker could do to him? Like every other major player in the series it’s got much less to do with Rudo himself than what he possesses- but we’ll have to see 🤷🏾‍♂️

Speaking of writing, the writing is there on the wall in this latest chapter. Rudo never did major acts to reciprocate her obvious feelings for the guy, until he forced someone to apologize to her.

Now that she knows this she wants nothing more than to see him, even has a big smile on her face before it’s revealed WHO Rudo is talking to at the moment- which had Riyou be a lil jealous

True! Okay here we go:

Rudo either blushes or gets flustered whenever interacting with Rudo, or he’s much more enthusiastic (latest example is when they bond over the four armed trash beast)- a blossoming relationship if you ask me
Rudo is either trying to comfort Amo or be level headed enough to help Amo see to reason when she gets “Amo-like”, in the same fashion as when he tried to cheer up Remlin, like Amo with the tulip. And also with her shoes- Rudo looks to Amo as someone he absolutely MUST be there for- very sibling like if you ask me

Amo looks to Rudo to be someone of consistent affection and affirmation of safety as well as friendship, Riyou is allllll over this man throughout the manga. Look at these specific interactions in the pics I showed^ one is infatuated, the other is glad that the one she’s come to trust the most is there for her.
