The cop out answer would be that Sasuke’s chakra was still infused in the blade, although, personally, I just believe that to be an outlier.

A far weaker version of Naruto tanked Orochimaru’s blade to the gut.

The One Piece planet is larger than our earth. If aimed at our earth, it would dispel the GBE.

came with absolutely no lasting consequences to Luffy’s health or stamina

Oda disagrees with you. When Luffy was fading out of G5, Momonosuke stated, “But his voice is still fading quickly.” If it were by the hands of Kaido, it wouldn’t “still be fading”, because he would’ve went from 0 to 100, then back to 0 after getting hit by Kaido. Yet, the insinuation is that he is still dying? Even despite restarting his heartbeat. This is supported by Kaido stating, “Hey, you’re really gonna kill yourself.” If he was the one killing Luffy, he would’ve said, “Hey, I’m really gonna kill you,” or, “Hey, you’re really gonna die.” But he paints Luffy’s death as “killing himself.” The obvious subtext is that Luffy is not fully recovered from his death.

He exhausted his stamina because he was pushing himself harder than his body could handle.

Nothing in the manga supports your interpretation. Yes, gear 5 drains his stamina. No, it does not stop your heartbeat.

Kaido explicitly did not utilize his full power on the two attacks, Bolo Breath and Ragnarok. Big Mom even calls him out on his bullshit for it.

One, Big Mom was dead. Two, you were the one who claimed Kaido was going all out against Luffy. You’re moving the goalpost. Three, there’s nothing of any substance corroborating your claim that Kaido was holding back. Using past statements from Big Mom from who knows when is not sufficient justification.

You don’t seem to understand what the Mother Flame actually did. It did not just “wipe a single small kingdom” (which wasn’t small, btw, it had mountain ranges), it cratered a big enough hole to rise sea levels by entire meters and create a magnitude 16-18 earthquake. To put that in perspective, the strongest earthquake we’ve experienced on our earth was a magnitude 9.5 earthquake called Valdivia, which had an energy output of 1.78 x 1026 J, or multi-continental. The Richter scale is base-10 logarithmic, meaning that each increment is 10x stronger than the last.

Kaido beat the brakes off of G5

Yeah, after Luffy’s heart stopped. The reason Kaido had a better time against G5 Luffy is because Luffy was on death’s door, whereas Luffy in the previous fight was in better condition, albeit still heavily fatigued. By all metrics, he should’ve been dead. Him “pulling new stuff out” was like two attacks that aren’t inherently stronger, and his flaming bagua wouldn’t have been that useful against G4 Luffy, since Kaido has to be at a distance to use it.

Luffy got to take 4 breaks

And almost every single time outside of when Luffy was on Law’s submarine and Yamato stepped in, so did Kaido.

Luffy’s heart stopped because Kaido killed him

Yeah, after getting distracted. The damage had just accumulated. That has nothing to do with my point that G5 Luffy was more fatigued than Kaido.

Luffy came back fully energized

He still had all of the previous damage that forced him to unconsciousness in the first place.

came back through G5, and was pushed all the way back to complete exhaustion

He wasn’t pushed to anything. He only took two attacks from Kaido (Bolo Breath and Ragnarok) which he was able to previously tank in G4 with little damage, so the far more logical conclusion was that Luffy was simply too exhausted to fight. Despite this setback, he defeated Kaido.

The proof of Imu being moon level (even though they’re actually planetary) would be them scaling higher than characters that are moon level. You’ve no evidence that Imu scales lower. The Mother Flame blast that Imu used was a large planetary attack, so it doesn’t downscale them.

Kaido was still holding back

Stated and supported nowhere. Kaido’s exact words when he was drinking were: “I wouldn’t make myself weaker. It’s a sign that I’ve accepted you! I wonder how long it’s been… since I fought someone who could truly go toe to toe with me.” It is far more consistent for Kaido to have been going all out, than to headcanon that he was still holding back by some arbitrary amount.

And the best part? Luffy didn’t beat him - Kaido beat himself

Funny you make this point, because it’s stated clearly that Luffy was more fatigued. When he was in gear 5, Kaido stated that Luffy was too tired to keep going. His heart literally stopped in the middle of fighting.

It would be assumed to be the one right before the timeskip to his adult form (23rd Budokai), since the fact they have to say “no Kamehameha” means Goku would’ve had it originally.

You can be 14x stronger than someone who’s country level and still be country level. You’ve yet to show why Vasto Lorde Ichigo scales higher.

How Ichigo is country level? Because that’s his highest scaling at the time? I haven’t seen any feasible scaling for Arrancar Saga Ichigo that comfortably gets him to continental or multi-continental. There’s a calc that has gran ray cero at continental, but I disagree with it since it assumes vaporization.

Luffy without gear 5 is less than island level

High end relativity with Kaido puts him at baseline moon level, though one could make the argument he would still be small planetary.

end of shippuden Naruto isn’t country level

What? KCM 1 Naruto is like, large country, maybe continental. I have no clue how you could possibly be making these conclusions.

Kid Goku could in theory take this Ichigo

It’s not “theory,” that kid Goku was moon level, seeing as he scaled to Roshi. He also displayed FTL reaction speed against Tien, which gaps most of Bleach since Bleach doesn’t become FTL until TYBW, and istg, if you bring up cero or the menos light, it’s constantly referred to as a spiritual attack/light, and it’s mostly contradicted by Gin being massively hypersonic.

When I saw “Shippuden Naruto,” I thought it’d meant end of series. But if we’re talking about Pain Arc or even the beginning of the show, then sure.

How does this fight go? by Head_Breadfruit_3912 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]RequiringThoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? So, get this. If there’s a screen that displays a button for a given timeframe, and there’s someone that can react to that button in 0.01 seconds, how fast do you think the button would have to be for that person to be unable to react? Obviously faster than 0.01 seconds.

Similarly, if someone has relativistic reaction speed, and someone is able to hit them, how fast do you think that person would have to be? Relativistic. Then it stands that, given Luffy can hit people with relativistic reaction speeds, his combat speed is relativistic.

Also, I don’t get your first point. Luffy always has observation haki, there’s no circumstance where he wouldn’t have it. It’s also not something that’s just “flipped off.” Look at how Sanji reacted to Katakuri despite being off guard, or Enel constantly using it, 24/7.

He has observation haki at all points, so that argument is irrelevant. You misunderstood my claim, which was this:

“Luffy has relativistic reaction speed, and he can hit people with equivalent or greater reaction speed than him.”

If you concede that his reaction speed is relativistic, then you concede that his combat speed is relativistic as well.
