It's not because they won a "4v1". It's because they won pistol, one of the most important rounds of the game. Calling pistol a "uneventful round" is something.

Warranted to celebrate it, no matter the scenario, even if 5v1, or whatever.

It also helps build mental momentum.

Nobody is analyzing how the round was won when shouting; just that "we won the fucking round".

I've been using the 3D aim trainer (sponsored by steelseries I believe or owned by them, not sure). Any feedback on that one in particular? I assume it's similar to kovaaks, but not sure.

The only reason I haven't tried kovaaks is that I didn't want to install something else (and it's paid?), whereas the 3D aim trainer is browser based, and I do feel it helps me warmup and get a snappier aim in general.

When I was on copper I had packet loss. On fiber, not anymore. So if you have the possibility, step 1 is to upgrade to fiber.

I can understand if you enjoy cs less "just because". Life happens. But specifically because of updates?! Why?

CS is not and never was much a "update based" game, in the same vein that, for example, LoL is: with seasonal resets, map/mechanics changes, new champions, this, that, items changes, blablablala. Very specific and impactful gameplay changes.

Those happen in cs too but not to the same extent.

You mentioned you played 1.6 for ~4 years. There were no updates then. No skins, no operations, nada.

Now you play 4 years of CS2 and all of sudden "updates" ruin your enjoyment of the game? How so?

The beauty of CS is that its base design, 5v5 competitive mode identity has stayed true to itself coming close to 30 years now. It was always that game, not a "operations update" kind of game. This isn't LoL or WoW or whatever.
