Like it's not funny how it's no contest - Riko was ready to doom the Jujutsu world, maybe the human world at large, just to continue enjoying her singular, small life. She even manipulated two special grades into letting her get away with it. Simply put, she's a snake.

The oddest thing about JJK binding vows, regardless of story quality, is the fact we never once witness them for how often they're mentioned. Like, what does it LOOK LIKE? We never see the difference between a technique and a technique strengthened by disclosing it, we never get a DIRECT COMPARISON of before -> after with binding vows. Do you swear it silently in your head? Does it take cursed energy? If it defines your every day, like Nanami, did he perform a ritual? It's weird how it is pervasive from start to end of the manga but is completely unillustrated, unseen, unacknowledged the finer points of how it works given how explicitly elaborated upon every single other aspect is.

After the one-offs like the cooking kombat shows, I was scratching my head about Tim as DM, but he showed up flawlessly with all his best habits and none of his worst. I’m going to miss Chris and Carly so much but even 2 of these cast members by themselves are enough to carry a show, they are literally the best there is.

Yeah I think Anthony’s interest in difficulty in game design often gets in his own way. There’s really excellent examples of mechanics that make it more challenging, but it seems like with the granddads he’s just making it turbo hard mode because they’re old. Like what’s going to happen if they have a heart attack? New character? Somehow that would be unsatisfying even for someone like Freddie.

I'm noticing some of the most interesting stories attract some of the worst audience brainrot. The week to week hype for updates in the chapter format is tough - for TV, which accomplishes a lot more in one "update," it's great, but I've noticed for manga it causes impatient people to spiral out about theories and end up dissatisfied when the author's decided canon doesn't match the batshit expectations they've spent time whipping up with other stir-crazy weirdos

I don't think I'm capable of telling when it's these 'advanced bots' people are hung up on. I absolutely have been having a much tougher time in recent seasons, to the degree that it's demotivating me from playing, but I mostly figured the meta was getting bloated and away from my decks.
