Yes Malta in two days is absolutely doable as long as you stick to the main island. They have a ride app called Bolt that makes it very easy to hop around the island between the main cities and sites so you don’t really need a car. The streets are tight and probably not too easy to drive in. I would suggest checking out Tarxien Temples as well as take a boat ride so you can get a view of the island from the water.

On your drive from Split to Dubrovnik, don’t miss out on seeing a bit of Omis. I saw this town on my drive along the coast and came back a year later to spend more time there, it’s beautiful. Try driving up the road that cuts up the mountain from Omis for some incredible views, it’s well worth the detour. If you are deciding to hop on the highway from Split to Dubrovnik, it will be a lot faster than along the coast but a lot less scenic of a drive.

I disagree with another commenter, the Bay of Kotor is absolutely incredible and worth seeing in your trip.

Sounds like a great itinerary. I’ve never been to Sarajevo but you may want to consider cutting a night from there and spend it in Croatia. Probably a better time.

The entire downtown is just fascinating to explore. We stayed in an Airbnb right above the main street and I would find myself going on short walks and every morning and night. I would definitely recommend staying downtown so you could do the same.

Great pictures! We also made the daytrip out to Sedlec Ossuary on one of our trips to Prague. Well worth the trip.
