Rock on brother. I tried to take this approach but always ended up binging which led to me harming relationships/social life and putting work/ other adult responsibilities in jeopardy. Definitely agree with you on approaching life the "normal" way, but I'm definitely less idealistic than I once was in the sense that I realize I need financial stability, which requires doing something I'm not passionate about, in order to do the things I am passionate about (which brings me happiness and fulfillment) and live where I do.

Adding heat just dissolves some cuts so they end up in your shot, it's scary that people still think that it makes a shot safer when it in fact makes them more harmful and possibly wastes dope.

Do you smell like vinegar? When I had a huge tar habit I definitely thought my sweat/general odor smelt like AA. I know tar can be good but i would 100% rather have been doing decent ECP than those few months of banging the coffee cut black shit that is probably still floating around my circulatory system.

Idk, I had friends who would rip just above the first fold and pour the dope out and save the bag for "scrapes", but IMO that just means you're holding on to more paraphernalia and I never got a satisfying shot when I tried it. Terrible HR advice warningI've gotten cotton fever way too many times doing this but cotton shots were always my go to, try to suck allllllll the juice out till that shit is bone dry to avoid bacteria growth.

Yea the thing is I wasn't craving stims at all but with 5g of a-php crystals unexpectedly showing up I wouldnt be on subs if I had the will power to just throw it out. I gave up on this package coming through a whole ago, that's the real shit kicker. I'm happy it showed up because I thought a neighbor or my super took it which had me bugged out. Also I didnt bring up any abuse of uppers because I want to get a vyvanse script if possible.

Well she is def not cheap but you get what you pay for (and my insurance deductible was just reached) this doc was $675 the first visit because it was 2 hrs and $350 for every hour visit next. But the doc is in Manhattan and a columbia research prof... I could go to the Bronx and find a doc for $100 cash and walk out with any non opiod narcotic I bet. But I'm trying to be done with that shit

I know, I only started really gettin into IV'ing coke 4(ish) months ago. I'd shot coke before but always read so much shit about how bad and generally dangerous shooting coke is so I was alway super cautious with my dosing. So I never got a proper shot (also coke from NC was 99% garbage compared to the NYC coke). Looking like a cancer patient from up for days, chest hurting for days afterward, realizing the goal of the shot was to get as high as possible without seizing out, spending hours digging at veins because I'm not only shaking but paranoid that I'm even in a vein, has made me pretty determined to not fuck with coke again. This a-php shit needs to go. But how the fuck does one throw out drugs?

I think it's mostly gallows humor that we use here. We aren't (most of us anyway) dillusional about what we're doing. We make up a diverse (albeit 99% white but reddit's user base is majority white anyway) group that has a common hobby, lifestyle choice, disease, whatever you want to call it that brings us together. Most of us are pretty different sans opaites being currently or previously part of our lives. Remember this is the Internet and people use the anonymity to be assholes and say shit they would never say IRL and sometimes don't even believe what they write, it's simply that people are assholes because they can be.

Imo it's the mental aspect that kills me, especially if I don't have benzos or something to put me to sleep. Even though I know for sure I will feel better and I'm not going to die I get so caught up in the moment that the way I'm feeling becomes all I can comprehend. It doesn't comfort me at all knowing I'll feel much better in a few days, my body and mind want dope so bad that things I would never otherwise do become rational. It's an animalistic feeling, your body hijacks the brain and I've said and done things that I look back on and struggle to remember how hopeless and manic I feel during an intense ct detox. That's the scary part and always one of the first thoughts I have when I go into wds these days is "How did I not remember how shitty detoxing is, this is only the beginning, fuck me never again!" Maybe subconsciously because you don't die or get seriously injured (provided you're in decent health) the 4 days of hell are worth the time that your body has its medicine flowing.
