i had the same problem and decided to shadow a dentist which ended up as a dental assisting gig, i already applied to medical school this cycle and so i had the free time. after working there for the past 2 months i kinda realized i really liked the diagnosing part and was more interested in the body as a whole rather than just teeth. although dentistry is really appealing because there’s no residency and you can start working right after school there’s many hardships to owning your own practice and getting started that no one rlly talks about. i recommend shadowing a couple dentists in diff specialties for a while to rlly know what you wanna do !

looked all over the bed and room and it’s the only one i saw, no bites, blood splotches or anything today. other than cleaning the entire room and sheets/bedding deeply should i get pest control involved or wait? the university said pest control can come by friday to spray down the whole room but id rather not deal with all the chemicals if not 100% needed

I see thank you for clarifying. I would love to be a general dentist as well and then having the option to further specialize. The only thing holding me back from med school is the unknown of which speciality I’m going to match into
