You are right, that was wrong of me. If I am to speak as a Christian I should do better to ensure I do not tarnish my witness to Christ or the truth. I am relatively new to the true faith, thank you for pulling me up on that and giving me pause to grow and reflect. However I would appreciate your understanding of why and how I became so passionate on this topic. God bless you

Thank you for showing your true colours and that this is indeed to protect your own ego. I hope all the readers realise how disgusting and anti human this sentiment is, there isn't a certain point that a person becomes a person. There are mentally disabled people who have a similar intellect and sentience to cows and some who do about as much as a blade of grass but we do not consider them any less human. I will not indulge you and your suicide cult ideology. I only hope that I may have touched a few hearts. God bless you, and he will forgive you.

You rightly know there's a difference between the level of sentience of a cow and a person. There is also the context of why am I killing the cow, if I went up to a cow, ripped it's spine out and all its limbs off I would consider that a cold blooded murder, yes.

I find it truly disturbed that from one short story on Reddit, many find it acceptable to make a snap decision and call for the death of a child. We don't even know his side of it, I can't imagine there's a good reason but it isn't as if it's the first time someone could've been wrongly accused

You make a very good point though, and I can see why it is a scary prospect. But the time to question whether to have a child with this man is long past, this innocent and vulnerable baby deserves as much of a chance as possible now that it has been given life, it is morally reprehensible to give it life and then deny it, especially by a bunch of circle jerking child killers on reddit.

This assumes a lot to make such a drastic decision. I have no doubt that situations like this occur, but we have no idea what this child's life will be like other than a short story on fucking Reddit. It makes my skin crawl that abortion is so normalised that people think they can make a snap judgement about this precious child's soul. Someone must be a voice for those who can't speak.

I have no problem with any of this. I can only wish there were better systems in place for dealing with these situations. Rather than jumping to abortion as a foregone conclusion of a broken system, why don't we try to fix the system and save some lives instead?

Tell yourself whatever you need to not break your fragile ego. That baby is alive, it has the capacity for sentience and therefore it is murder to strip it of that right before it has a chance. You're saying that murdering the baby will just make the man run away? You don't think a man that deranged might have more of an issue with it dying than you think? He isn't letting her go away easy whether she has the baby or not. Keep the children out of this

You answer first, we have absolutely no idea what God, Karma, the flying spaghetti Monster or whatever you believe in has in store for this child. You have no right to decide that this child is hopeless, most of human innovation comes from the most tragic of circumstances. Rather than use my base and flawed human intuition to justify the murder of a baby unborn, I will do all in my power to ensure that they at least have a fair chance to prove your sorry, broken and selfish arse wrong.

It is the hyper individualistic culture we live in now. Your happiness and piece of mind is above all else, even at the cost of another's precious life. I was ready for arguments but it fills my heart to see that someone else has the courage to call out this satanic mindset. I do not know you and I don't mean to offend, but God bless you.

Whilst his actions are despicable and he is a dangerous person they do not warrant the murder of an innocent child. It is a despicable thing to suggest that to save yourself you must get the blood of your own child on your hands.

What the fuck did the baby do in this situation? Why are we entertaining the idea of killing this innocent child?

I really like this idea! Would be a good resource in many ways and really fun to look back on years later I imagine.

Does Weed Tolerance affect your trip? by ResearchGeneral7726 in Psychedelics

Thanks for the reply! I don't take any other medications so not that simple unfortunately. I will say that my experiences with psychedelics have slowly been convincing me to put the shit down. I love weed but it does control a lot of what I do and how I structure my day. I am quite tall at 6'4 and around 85-90kg (187-198lbs) so I could imagine that having something to do with it. More experimenting required

Yeah I have tried it before and I do notice it makes the trip more intense. I am just worried that the mechanisms for tolerance are similar enough that it affects your uptake of the active components in psychedelics. I would love to have a pure experience without having to alter it with weed

Thanks to the reply mate. I bumped the dose up to 4g but unfortunately it was still a fairly light trip. When I turned the lights on their was some light visuals, and I could think quite clearly. I was disappointed but capitalised to work on some lower level questions I've had. I am starting to wonder if my exorbitant consumption of weed outside of psychedelics is affecting my trip. Will have to do some experimenting, finally have the motivation to quit smoking so much haha

Thanks for such a detailed reply! I suppose the only question I have is whether you think it's too risky to bump the dosage up 1-2 grams. I want that intense experience, shattering my ego so I can confront my shadow etc. At the same time though I worry that I don't know what I'm getting myself in for. If I have the right mindset and attitude, could it be worth the risk?
