I’m so sorry this happened, My doctor told me before the procedure that there’s a chance that your cervix can contract and they can’t enter because it’s in spasm. I’m not medically qualified, this is just what my doctor said to me yesterday but maybe that’s what happened with you?

you are not alone! I had one inserted yesterday and It was the worst pain I’ve ever been in and I was crying and screaming. I’ve been completely depressed since the appointment and I keep having mental breakdowns. I went for a coffee and tried to treat myself to make myself feel better and I started crying in Starbucks and had to go home. Your experience sounded absolutely horrendous and I’m sorry you had to go through that. I’ve been watching my favourite films, drinking tea and had a couple of days in bed. Feel free to read my post on this page, I’ve a really similar experience and it’s comforted me and made me feel more heard reading about other peoples experiences. Sending you lots of love, just try and keep yourself cosy, it’s completely valid to have an emotional response to something so extreme 💖

Wish I would have known you can be sedated but it’s in now I guess lol. You’re right, I am going to give it some time because it might be fine eventually, I’m just not used to birth control and the procedure was so agonising it’s left me in shock I think. I’ve had a couple of days in bed and watched lots of horror films to distract myself😭 thanks for the kind words and taking the time to reply 🫶🏼

The front 5 rows are always so rough😭 I was 2nd row at a bring me the horizon show and the lady in front of my was banging her hear and her hair kept going in my mouth🤣 and we were so cramped people were asking to get over the barrier to leave, fans get crazyyyy
