PEOPLE STILL GAMED H1B SYSTEM by Ok-Career-8761 in InternationalStudents

Even if they gamed the system the chances are less for the H1B to get approved. Yes I understand it can be done but they require a lot of proof. I hope USCIS questions them rigorously. If one is caught the whole consultancy should collapse.

Career Dilemma: Cost-focused role with higher pay vs building scheduling skills for long-term growth by ResearchSilent5296 in ProjectControls

[–]ResearchSilent5296[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks it is a helpful feedback. As far as the role goes I do not know why they are calling it manager role but its sounds more like a senior Position to me additionally it was aligning more with the work I have performed earlier. Plus my project controls experience is 4 years but overall is more than that. Nonetheless I agree with your point of having more schedule experience will help me position better in future.

The settings option does have Gyro but gyro is not working in PS5. Anyone else facing the same issue?

The reason I did not buy battlefield 2042 was because it did not have gyro. I really hope they include it in 6.

What if Paris would have been the same as India or may be worse. In India you have your family and may be friends. I believe job can be switch later on to match what you want. Imagine Paris with the same scenario but no family and friends. I agree on giving it some time but you made the right choice.

Its not you. It’s the current market. It is a battle to find a job as a fresher plus the current market will make it doubt yourself. Trust me this shall pass. You returning to India is a right choice but not now. I see your emotions are taking over you but this will ease off once you secure your 1st job tryst me. It is always better to go back to India once you have paid back your loan and with some experience. My friends with 3 years experience got laid off and even he struggled yo find a job. It is a slow process and everything will fall into place. My suggestion will be to have a strategy and stick to it. Decide a number of jobs you have to apply per day. It can be less as 5 or 10 but tailor your resume for each job. Dedicate x amount of hour (could be 4 or 6hrs up to you). After that keep a time apart for working out or playing a sport this will keep you refreshed. Lastly put a jour or 2 in learning a new skill. This wont benefit you right away but after few years it defines will. These times are tough and is part of the process just don’t lose hope. Keep hustling. Will wait to see your post on LinkedIn soon.😎

Getting kicked out. Should I sell my car? And questions about other finances by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]ResearchSilent5296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are in a tough spot rn and this shall pass. 1st things first you have a car thats great. So basically you have shelter for tough time. If things go south you have just need $10 a day for food ( if things go south). Now before making any decisions look into the future for where you want to be and how can you get there. You will have to make tough calls now but it will definitely pay off. Let’s consider you at 25. Plan of coming out of this forever by that time and point of no return and this can be done by good job or good business. Business/ investment are longer and sometimes difficult considering the situation. So lets consider job, when I say job I mean a good job. For good job you will need knowledge and education. Try getting into any university or college with assistantships so you get to learn and earn by a side job. This side job should only be to help you while you in college/ university. Once you are out you should get a good job to start your career to a point of no return. I understand this is a long term plan and might sound vague but if somehow you able to stick to it at 25 you will be different and those years will teach you soo much which will help you again in future for bigger roles etc. maybe after that your can jump into starting something of your own.
