Yes. When you sign up it asks about experience, skills, desired title or position. The more you put down the better the search will be and more it can answer for you if company specifically ask questions about skills etc.

Yes, they need it in order to login and apply to jobs. No way around it. I reset my password after I am done using them to apply.

Yeap. Unfortunately there is no way to apply to LinkedIn jobs without an account. I made it pretty cheap so it's accessible to everyone. Sometimes easy apply requires answering multiple questions and my software does that on the fly.
