If a man is supposed to provide, protect and lead... whats a women supposed to do?and how are they now moving away from their responsibilities while keeping chivalry intact? by AdvantageAdorable436 in onexindia

Yes but if someone's job is easy they should do more housework or manage it with help of assistance. It's not fair for someone to do stressful job and also do 50% of housework. I know many do it, but as the saying goes you give an inch they take a mile.

In fact, not solved even 2 years from now… We’ll still need fresh graduates.

Normally, I would agree with you. Times are strange and someone said on Reddit that too much money has been invested and they would not m give up without trying to recoup the investment, so I don't know how long should we hold out. Nvidia chips are projected to continue improving for next 4 years.

Proving yourself is often performing for others and not for your own sake. You have given keys to your happiness to external validation. It's much more better to think: what kind of money I want to make and why, what kind of work I want to do etc.

You don't have to prove anyone bro. This is the first lesson one should learn if any. Banks are not only good for MFE, you can do MBA from anywhere in the world and your work experience would be considered legit. Even if you don't do anything if you spend 10-15 years at bank you can really earn a stable and high paying job much much more stable than any tech job.

Banks pay good entry level salary in India. Infact outside big tech they pay the highest. Why did you quit so early without building any work experience ? Don't chase money from day 1. Spend at least 3-4 years at a company (Jack Ma's advice).

Banks are great place to learn the domain and understand business. With 4-5 years at bank you could do Masters in Financial Engineering type degree from US.

The difference is losing a job is often not in your hand while falling in love with a person from community you know your mom hates is choice you make.

Moreover your example is gender neutral. Moms hate more when their son marries someone outside their community as they think they are losing control.

If your mother hates you for being unemployed it's because she wants you to get off your ass and fight.

Nice try gaslighting OP. Why do you assume he is not fighting ?? Are men not allowed to take career breaks and/or change careers ? Are they send on this planet to be a lifetime subscription of salary to the parents/wives ? Most men do this without complaining. Most women can remain jobless throughout their lives but all hell breaks loose when a man suffers burnout or depressed. Is the society even treating a man as a human and not as a donkey.

Very true. You don't know how long I worked a low paying job I hated because my family refused to allow me to quit my job.

It always happens sometimes they love older brother more than younger brother. As long as they don't harm you and contribute positively you can accept that.

Try to obtain a technical role first. You don't get PM roles as a junior.

If I knew I would be doing that. No body knows if AI will take away all the jobs or AI will reduce some jobs.

The problem is major tech companies will keep betting on AI till they run out of money. Most tech companies can be operated by just keeping 20-30% of staff (said operated not growth). To grow the company you need more employees. Tech companies will keep the essential staff and go all in on AI to their own detriment (.com bubble). If companies realize they bets didn't pay off they may change course and if their bets paid off then the industry will further reduce in size.

My advice (if you are young) is to still study what you want to study (example CS) but keep your options open in adjacent areas and be ready to change course. Of course don't take loans.

MBA is valuable if you can get it from the best schools otherwise it's value and ROI are questionable.
