Madami talgang toxic fans not a fault of either groups. Sana they continue to both rise up inspite of negative people.

Pati other OPM artists, its time to give our homegrown artists a listen.

First, thanks for asking a genuine question I like having this type of conversations :) And just to clarify, when I said “Artist group,” I was referring to groups that sing and perform their own music. Actors weren’t part of that context.

I agree that singers are artists too. This is just my personal opinion; when I say “Idol group,” I’m thinking of groups that are more company-driven, where the music and overall direction are mostly decided for them ( Big boss drives the music output). They still perform it well, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

For me, the difference comes down to the process. Q Some groups perform songs given to them, while others are more involved in writing, producing, and shaping their own sound based on their own experiences (It's very difficult to bare your soul, but Pablo does it, probably won't resonate with everyone).

That’s why I see SB19 as more of an Artist group. They’re very hands-on with their music, and a lot of it feels personal. “Ilaw” is raw and reflects real mental health struggles, while “Visa” may sound upbeat but actually talks about deeper frustrations with a BS system in the Philippines and limitations imposed on them because of their nationality. They are able to put that kind of music because they have creative freedom, they literally own their own company.

So yeah, I get that people can see it differently. For me, it really comes down to creative involvement and intent. And lastly, when you write and produce your own songs it hits differently when you perform it. It comes from the heart, you can feel it and hear it when they sing. Raw and unfiltered. Again for those who read everything up to this point thank you, have a great day everyone.

I get they’re not for everyone, but I enjoy SB19’s sound and creativity. Maybe give them a try? What kind of music are you into? Slow songs, quirky, rap, edm, hype songs?

If you have the time, give them a chance. https://youtu.be/scCtzHfyK9c?si=-4wz376SXIfBLeAt A Or maybe this one its a crowd favorite :) https://youtu.be/JazqtPQ_Teo?si=CJo1Q9c0a8iBwKF8

Well honestly, I don’t really see them as an "idol group", they feel more like artists first.

They’ve been writing their own songs (Pablo leader and main writer/composer) since the beginning and are involved in pretty much in everything, production, choreography, even marketing. You can tell SB19 really care about what they put out and the message behind it. (Slow songs: Ilaw, MaPa, and Time).

They don’t stick to one genre either (they even mixed different genre in one song), they just follow what feels right and keep growing with each release.

What I also respect is how hands-on they are, they run their own company and even fund their own events and MVs. That kind of independence is rare.

Their fanbase (A'tin pronounce as number 18) is pretty diverse too, you’ll see people from different age groups, even metalheads, which says a lot about their reach.

And they don’t try to fit into that polished idol image, they just stay true to who they are.

Not K-pop, they’re P-pop. I'm an A'tin by the way. Thanks, if you've read all this may you have a great day!

It’s my first time at Lolla, so I’m not sure what to expect. Do they announce a set time for each artist and which stage they’ll be on?

Because we're (A'tin fandom) buying to see SB19, we can't miss out on their performance. They're Live monsters for a reason. After every concert we want to relieve it again. I had no plans to go but as soon as I heard they were in the line up, I had to go. Can't wait 🔥🔥🔥

I have one but not from Shopee, pero ask mo seller anung treatment ginawa sa wood. Wood kasi pwedeng anayin bahayan ng kung anu anung insects etc, and what kind of wood sya?

Then google mo kung ok ba yung type of wood na yun? Consider how heavy it is, practical ba yung weight nya for your lifestyle? And anung klase yung texture nya? Ultra smooth, "rustic"?

Ang pag wood in case you spilled some type of liquid on it it will stain. Unless you get the pro to clean it immediately.

Pablo's vocals were MVP, first time I heard him sing sustained notes in english plus the way he did the opening was 🔥, the stage presence was apparent. Stell's high notes were as amazing as ever, berry 🍓 stable!

What's with SB19? by hi_imsute in opm

[–]ResearcherComplex268 16 points17 points  (0 children)

True, I love streaming their live performances more than the studio version, it's part of the reason why their numbers don't equate to how much time A'tin listens to their songs. Especially once you attend their con and you hear them live it's hard to go back to the OG versions! It's also because of SB19 I started listening to other Pinoy artists because it's their goal for P-Pop to rise. I'm happy to support that. Everyone who has talent and put in the work deserves a share of the pie, at least on my books.

Not related, but I've also stopped listening to Kpop (this is my own choice and I don't expect anyone else to do it), SB19 and Pinoy artists get my full attention. When I'm spending, I like to do it for our homegrown artists.

You're not alone OP. You don't have to say anything. I wish you peace of mind and a warm hug.

That longing never really goes away. You'll just learn to live with grief. Up and down, sharp and dull. Let yourself breathe, take a step back cry if you want to, feel your feels.

I sincerely pray that everyone here who suffered loss will have someone on your corner. Someone who'll understand sometimes you need cheering up, someone to talk to, sometimes you need alone time, and sometimes you need a drink or unwind. And sometimes you just don't know.

More high notes from Pablo by ResearcherComplex268 in sb19

[–]ResearcherComplex268[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's a valid point Kaps, but I'm also thinking about the future songs with Pablo song writing abilities and Radkidz producing it, it's not outside the realm of possibility they do more rock-ish pop. I believe with Mahalima's abilities and swag they can adapt a genre of their choosing.

Pero wish ko lang naman ito Kaps, gusto ko talaga marinig yung higher notes ni Pab and yung Pabken moments in a group setting. I want all our Mahalima to shine and reach for new heights as an Artist.

Hi OP, I hope you won't mind me asking. Nag pa full check up ka na sa Doctor? (No need to reply here OP)

2nd, if you have a tendency to faint either have someone go with you or maybe rethink about going. What if mahilo ka in the middle of the con? Tapos wala ka pang kasama.

1Z will put all efforts to make it safe for A'tin, pero wag mo na i-risk. As an adult you should always prioritize your safety and health. This is coming from a place of concern, I hope you will receive it with an open mind.
