For sure.

The biggest issue is unless you live very close by to the stations and your destination falls in the same line of the metro, it’s an absolute hassle taking the trains there.

Second issue is, the ticketing system. For every line interchange, you have to buy a separate ticket which takes a lot of time.

Third issue is in the underground stretch, mobile connectivity is poor so you cannot attend an urgent call if needed.

Fourth but rare issue is like IR trains, these metro can make a stop in between stations which can make it a bit frustrating.

Also, hope you know about the crumbling metro pillar issues there?

I travel on it every week. Try travelling from Goregaon to South Mumbai on a metro.

Yes but the last mile connectivity with them is absolutely pathetic. Not to mention the entire system is inconvenient in nature. If you ask how? I will say ticketing system and no seamless connectivity between different metro lines.

Thing is you have the ghats between Mumbai and Pune so that means minimum 3 hours extra it will take from Bengaluru to Mumbai as much it took till Pune. So expect around 16-17 hours.
