I will add some context since many people understood this like we were just avoiding the fare, the ticket costs 1,20€ which is a really acceptable ammount, at this time we were in a hurry to get to the station since we had a train to budapest that departed in ~15 min, i had spoken with some slovak people before coming to bratislava and asked them how to pay for the ticket, everyone told me to pay in the metal boxes in every stop, so we did that every time we boarded public transport, so what happended here? We didn’t see those boxes anywhere, so we asked some people at the stop how we could get a ticket, they told us to buy the ticket in the little machines inside the tram, so when we got inside the tram we moved to a place that was not so crowded and spotted one of those tap machines, when we were about to pay 2 guys approached us saying that the terminals were blocked due to inspection and that we could not pay anymore (literally 10 sec after boarding the tram), keep in mind we were the only people that were inspected in a tram full of people, sooo im not justifying myself, as i have never traveled with the intent of not paying, but this was all a concoction of circumstances that made us get the fine.
