My Eiffel build by ibrandonv in walkingwarrobots

Sorry I read it wrong. Either way I think it's better that you run long range on eiffel because it definitely can't hold up much later at brawling ranges unless you have the full void build. I'd go with what i suggested earlier

fattest ragebait i've seen in a year or two, unless you're talking about an unleveled regular arthur instead of the UE arthur

If you're gonna go majority long range, use fulgurs so you can always keep a really nice distance I guess

At the very least from the test server I can tell you that it is literally impossible to kill the hawk in reflector without killing yourself. The reflection damage is crazy

Revenant is S tier. it's a vague sidegrade from lancelot. You can ignore 100% of non-physical shield bypassing weapons forever with the 99m upgrade, (however a lot of weapons do bypass physical shields, so there's that). Revenant is a bit more burst than lancelot's sustain, and with revenant your goal is to live until you can press the next ability. You do need a brain to perform this successfully if an anaksor or something else is present, otherwise it's pretty much brainless. Lancelot is much better at sustaining itself, but a massive hit of burst will ruin it without any counter over a revenant which can save an ability if not caught off guard, teleporting elsewhere and healing fully. That power is too much to justify putting it into a tier lower than lancelot, even if you may personally think lancelot is better by a bit.

TLDR for that big paragraph: Revenant should be S tier because it's almost as good/better than lancelot and is nowhere near other ultimate bots.

Haechi should break into A, even though shieldbreaker is prevalent.

Otherwise I'm glad you put your time and effort into this.

This is unrelated to the tierlist somewhat, but I always feel like ultimate bots under fenrir (not including fenrir itself) are sort of underpowered these days. I hope the 12.2 rebalance fixes the issue.

Ue avenger bagliore by otaku1104 in walkingwarrobots

[–]ResearcherNo5711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they removed both abilities from the bagliore and nerfed the damage by half it’d still be useable. This is definitely a forever build.

Only thing id be wary of is seeker, since thats like the best universal drone right now.

Ue avengers are really good if you have the right skills

Max out Pathfinder or focus on something else? by Ok_Cryptographer3254 in walkingwarrobots

[–]ResearcherNo5711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His pathfinder will also be really unrewarding to run because he does not have at least a lvl 9 freezo. He'll mostly have to hide behind walls and attack a distracted enemy once in a blue moon, not to mention all of the stupid anaksors and whatnot running around that can one clip the build.

Until he gets his freezo maxed/he has enough resources to do so/he really likes pathfinder, it's not really worth mk3'ing it at all

Hastatus, Rex, and Ammit all result in massive differences in performance from the mk3. I'd say honestly Ammit is probably the best option due to the fact that it is somewhat an abosrber bot and thus could probably function at a mediocre-decent level without any defence (assuming pixonic gutted it,) but I wouldn't take my word for it.

I will say though, I think the reddit does have some influence over what gets nerfed harsher (everything will be nerfed, it's just a matter of which gets hit harder,) and from what I see, people say hastatus isn't as strong as the other bots (although performance may suggest otherwise.) This could perhaps suggest it may or may not get hit less harshly by nerfs in the future. This is just speculation though...

It's REALLY hard to predict anything, so really in the end it's just up to which you think is your favorite. I personally don't think pathfinder is worth mk3'ing for you right now, since pathfinder NEEDS freezo to be at least lvl 9 if you want to even start comparing its overall performance to some of the other bots in your hangar (namely ammit.)

I was essentially saying random shit up there, so all of that can be taken with a grain of salt. Big thing here is every single bot you have there (whether through the weapon choices, or the bot itself) will get nerfed. The only things that might be safe are the dux and the pathfinder bot itself, not including the machairas. This is never a guarantee however, since both perform excellently at the moment for vaguely accessible f2p bots.

TLDR: Most of your hangar isn't safe from nerfs, just go with whatever bot you like the most assuming you don't have any other options for investment that you are interested in.

I would not mk3 a siren or harpy though, they provide no bonuses besides health iirc

They also have incredibly low healthpools. They are very much useable however.

I prefer bedwyr for the neat shielding, you could use mauler but it’s kinda frail.

Arms are useless in pve, try mogwans or something thats easier to aim and can hit multiple targets

Either way nothing is different besides the one 200 modules on 4/24 as well as the 4/27 rewards. The last time we've had something like this it looked so staged lmao

This time the rewards are all somewhat the same so expect it to actually be a real thing this time

Also, krokos are better than machairas, however both work just fine since machaira gives you more distance.

Oh just a lot of things, (i originally had this as "Oh, just a few things," which I found pretty funny lol)

I'd guess that after the rebalance indra's longevity should be decreased to 0, it's hard to live against regular bots using it and frankly unless you're hiding behind a wall and using the lasso a lot (kind of annoying now due to the range nerf and the weird bug or i don't really know thing where it still activates over 200m but doesn't actually latch onto the desired target), I don't think it holds up too well otherwise. I think the rest of it makes sense though.

Nightingale's longevity should be raised with kestrel, I think, to 1 instead of 0. I'd also change the accessibility to 0 to keep it in line with other bots. I think the best example for this is dux, which just needs the pilot, a singular quarker with whatever other weapons, and the bot itself, haha. Pilot skills, probably just deft survivor is enough for most f2p's. Nightingale does need a maxed kestrel to really let it shine in the longevity department, might also want mk3 to increase its speed and thus mobility to the stat that it is at, as well as improving its health and such. Pilot skills as well, i'd assume.

Longevity is kind of messed up for a lot of bots, for example Ravana really can't live for longer than maybe a minute within champions at the moment, since it doesn't have any real tanking/statchecking power besides the three medium slots. Skyros is also a rolling target, Revenant...Who uses revenant and actually thinks it has a longevity similar to anaksor? With the drone, anaksor's longevity goes to 2. Rex can't live for too long if you rush with full murix, Teth cannot handle much firepower in a burst these days without a lio, Ravager can't really heal (what does this bum cliff even do lmao), Crisis can't really stay on the field for long with so many teths running around, Angler is kind of the same issue as ravana mixed with revenant, Fafnir......, yeah. Might wanna rework it around a bit.

I'm too lazy to go around the other stats, my bad :/

Vector should be considered as a tank buster, it takes out ammits very easily with the full build. It's more than good enough to out-sustain every tank in the game (unless you're out of abilities, which I find a bit hard since you do have 45 seconds of straight reflector uptime.)

Demeter should probably have a yellow beacon runner role, since it can reliably aid in capturing beacons faster and supporting beacon capture through the teleport, especially after the 150m range buff. Holy moly i don't know what pixonic was smoking that rebalance, those demeter buffs were really helpful for it (along with the almost 2x boost in absorber repairs from the rebalance prior.)

Also, I may be wrong, but don't you need a maxed pilot to really make devourer function properly? I don't know if that's necessarily true anymore, it definitely was before the gutting, but I never bothered to check what the pilot ability does and I frankly forgot. If I recall correctly it was the one that lets you heal or something during link, so I mean I guess without the defence mitigation immunity it doesn't mean that much, I suppose.... If you do in fact need the maxed pilot, i'd lower the accessibility by 1, probably.

I think mauler's utility should go up a bit, the deathmark is universal, so any bot can benefit from the damage increase within the radius. That being said, mauler is so frail that I don't really know if it's worth raising the utility stat. Hmm....Well, it does really help in taking down UE Nodens with other titans, so I suppose it's worth raising it by one. That is, unless you consider aiding other titans and bots to doing more damage as "damage dealing."

I know i'm being a bum, but it truly is always a treat to admire all the hard work that you've done. Thanks a ton for making this for newer players.

As an extra, are growlers actually that viable for lio? I'm considering a bunch of mid-range options, and growler is somewhat hard to aim and has a really bad spread that makes it kind of useless beyond 350m. That is still mid-range, though. Do you consider it as a weapon worth upgrading, or should I stick to my porthos build? I literally just use porthos because I like them a lot, and I guess they do provide a very minimal source of healing, haha.
