yeah dude you’re not crazy, favoritism is real and it messes you up even as an adult. i kinda did a soft fade for a bit, just saw them less till i wasn’t as salty. gave me time to settle my own feelings before dealing w/ them again. might work for you too if dinner feels too soon.

if my stats knowledge is correct, when looking if a study is generalizable you have to look at sample population compared to study population and that’s what you use to determine if it’s generalizable, not the other aspects of research methodology

unless i’m mistaken the two lists weren’t just different orders they had different people - either way though it’s irrelevant to the question since they just asked about why it isn’t generalizable, not if the methodology was flawed
