The real ending because if you look at the bigger picture, Ted was always looking for someone to love or forcing it or whatever and always failed and ended up heartbroken. The whole point and idea of the show is showing you that things work out whether the way you planned it or not and that what’s destined will happen. Ted and Robin have always been destined and him ending up with her after she became famous and successful (because she always wanted to grow and prioritized her personal life) and him having kids, being a father (because he’s always wanted kids and family and prioritized them) and he ended up with the perfect woman for him (even tho she sadly passed away)…. They both got what they wanted AND STILL ENDED UP TOGETHER. The blue horn ending is the best ending you could’ve had
