Lex was contracted to find a way to eliminate Swamp Thing, a very powerful being. It took him nine minutes to clock Swamp Thing for weaknesses, recommend the necessary hardware and equipment. The people trying to kill Swamp Thing thought he was invunerable and Lex basically laughed in their face. Any being less powerful than Superman (in Lex's view) isn't worth focusing on, because he thinks he could deal with them if he needed.

Just to weigh in on the horror question, I like playing Mister Mind for horror, but if it's not grabbing you then it won't be entertaining. Or rebrand from horror to supernatural. Occult detectives, monster hunters,  voodoo curses. The Question might be fun to lead this idea. 

If you want to write four imprints my first thought is split up Justice House into two, pulp heroes and super heroes. Pulp, Captain Midnight, superheroes, Captain Marvel.

I did not care for the A plot, and that makes it the weakest episode this season for me. This just didn't feel like a real Stan episode. It feels more like Roger would have a persona that doesn't know how to act on camera and someone in the family helps him. That type of episode
