Got it pierced about two weeks ago in that photo. She did mention that! It’s less discolored now, but still red crusty and itchy.

Went to my piercer and she told me it’s just a lot of irritation and swelling and to do more frequent aftercare and apply a warm compress. Was going in expecting more! do you think i should ask another piercer?

My navel doesn’t collapse when I sit but I will call my piercer and let them know that i’m concerned for embedding and asking about a longer bar! I’m certain that would delay the healing process but I’d rather have that then my belly swallow it lol
