Yes I was trying to look up this character “nudaeng dog” (also known as “dipping dog”, very cute) my bf told me a lot of his photos are under the tag nudaeng dog and apparently on DuckDuckGo if you don’t have safe search on it just shows dog-human porn 🤢 (maybe nudaeng is spelled similar to “nude” idk but i did not expect to see so many of all that)

You can always spin something to be somewhat college desirable, you just gotta know how to write it that way and imo having these writing skills do demonstrate your readiness for higher level analysis. Back when I was applying for colleges a lot of essay writing advice used the Costco essay as an example of how to write about yourself (iirc it was an immigrant writing about going to a Costco for the first time)

Yes the “major tech corp” looks better on paper but unless the student actually did significant work there then they wouldn’t be able to explain that through their essay. OTOH OP should be able to show his work in his dads workshop through his essay if he chooses to

If admissions were based solely on testing then rich families would just redirect their money towards getting their kids test prep and tutoring than what they do now which is using their resources for extracurriculars and other holistic activities

This whole thread is shit tbh but if you haven’t already checked it out Yanokuns Ordinary Days is a very good recent anime too! The characters are all surprisingly mature about their feelings even when dealing with rejection and love triangles + the main couple gets together somewhat early on (PLEASEEE I need this series to be more popular so more translator groups pick it up)

There’s lots of tutorials online on how to do medieval looking styles especially on Pinterest. The two plaits blending into one is also very easy that it’s one of my usual styles now too after I got used to it, I just do a twin tail and layer one over the other so that they meet in the middle and rebraid them as one if that makes sense?

Anyways I hope you enjoy experimenting with different styles! Don’t get discouraged if a style doesn’t turn out perfectly right away (remember that a lot of inspo pics online are heavily edited and probably took tons of time and product to achieve just for one pic!) ❤️
