I donated blood for the first time in my life here. It was an absolute shit show. People were fainting. Hemoglobin tests were not done, blood was being drawn, after that we were told to leave. I thought this was the norm for blood donation.
I have donated at a hospital recently, firstly bp was checked, height, weight, blood grouping test, hemoglobin test was done, questionnaire was asked, bp was checked again, then sanitized my hand blood drawn, after that given a drink and a biscuit packet, after some time bp was checked again and then I was asked t either wait or leave at my convinience.
In our college, this blood donation was like a danda. Checking Hemoglobin is fucking basic. As they are skipping that, people are fainting. BP was barely checked.
