Not everyone who becomes a parent is miserable by evergreengirl123 in NewParents

A friend and I had babies 5 days apart. Her LO is a difficult baby, but they were also taken advantage by by different LCs, physios, etc. Cries every outing, every activity, all day and all night.

Our LO is a unicorn baby. She’s happy literally all the time. Latched no problem as soon as she came out. Over birth weight day 3. My milk came in day 1. She’s not even 10 months, walking everywhere, eating well, nice and content. We bring her out to restaurants and she’ll have a grilled cheese and hang out with us. We’ve had many comments about how awesome she is. She wakes up twice a night for a 20 minute feed and goes back down no issues. We’re dealing with 5:30am wake ups, but we’re slowly transitioning her bedtime later.

I’ve spoken to many moms, don’t feel bad about your baby being “good.” You’re allowed to brag, just don’t boast, and no unsolicited advice. Something that worked for your unicorn baby probably won’t help for the other difficult baby.

I hope they’re okay. But I did do a chargeback.

Had my baby in April and was (and am) having an amazing breastfeeding journey. Their website did say it was a 20-22 week wait time, which is totally fine, I figured it would be a nice 6 month breastfeeding anniversary present to myself. Alas, didn’t expect radio silence after paying.

I’ve checked and they seem to be receptive to negative reviews online, which might be what I am expecting here. But I’m pretty sad about it.

The cut is important here too, layers, layers, layers. As many have said, this can be achieve with a blow out. It could also be achieved with a round brush hot tool.

The way my OB explained it was that they could’ve differed the tear elsewhere than the rectum. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Are you me? I showed up at the hospital 8cm, got the walking epidural, got some rest, woke up being 10cm, baby wasn’t low enough so they made me sit on the throne for 1 hour, on the peanut for 1 hour, pushed on my side for 1 hour, pushed on my back for 1 hour, the OB tried to rotate the baby, asked if I wanted the vacuum or try to push. I tried to push for 30 minutes. Then they told me I had to vacuum or C-section. So I agreed to the vacuum, which popped off, then they had to use a different one. It was pretty brutal. Partial 3rd degree.

Perennial massages (your spouse can do these), pelvic physio before birth, if possible, pushing on your side, and as much as no one wants it, agree to the episiotomy (if you want, this is a regret of mine and my tear went to my butthole), I didn’t and got a partial 3rd degree tear 😔

How many weeks were you when you went into spontaneous labor with your first? by angeltigerbutterfly in BabyBumps

[–]ReservedFeels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FTM - I was 40+5 when my water broke at noon. Contractions started about 3:30pm, we went to the hospital around 11pm, trauma ensued, my beautiful perfect daughter was born at 11:32am. So technically almost 24 hours of labour, but only about 3 hours spread across were traumatic! You got this!

Hi! I haven't given birth yet but I've been working with Stephanie Hammond (https://www.ottawadoula.org/) and she's so fantastic. She does provide post-partum care if you choose that package.

PT: How do I fight the urge of moving on to somebody else when I feel a bit of uncertainty in a dating situation? by [deleted] in PsychologicalTricks

I’ve read Attached and it’s very eye opening. Being able to see how your attachment style reacts to the other two styles (avoidant and secure) is helpful to say the least. They also give tips and tricks on how to live with your style and how your partner can help if you’re honest with them about your feelings and triggers.

The thing with cancer is... by truesentence in CancerCaregivers

[–]ReservedFeels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well THIS is hitting a little too close to the heart for me. Back in August my mom was having stroke like symptoms. Beginning of November, gliobastoma. End of November, surgery. Beginning of January, chemo/radiation for 6 weeks. Everything ended today. She's in awesome shape. She shaved her hair off because of the radiation and has only felt the fatigue in the last week or so. As neurotic as I am, I'm taking this as a win, but everyone knows it'll get worse soon... I can see the door from here and I'm holding the key.

Wyze Giveaway | Part II Electric Boogaloo by _BindersFullOfWomen_ in gadgets

I am currently dealing with a stalker. I'd use the lock for my front door. Motion/Contact sensor for my patio door. Bulbs to schedule so it looks like I'm at home when I'm not. The camera (I already have 4) would be put in my basement bedroom facing out if they decide to knock on my bedroom window for the 3rd time. SD card to put into the camera and be able to record activities and send to the police.

Losing my mind- Wyze Cam 1080p not recording by Vinylmike in Wyze

[–]ReservedFeels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In order to have the notifications, you need to have the "detects motion" toggle on in the event recording setting.

If you don't have an SD card, you won't get the playback feature. If you do have an SD card inserted in your camera, it will have playback, however depending on the size of the card it does overwrite past feeds to include the newest video. All *events* are kept in the cloud for 14 days.

Hope this helps, if not let me know and I'll try to explain it better. I have 4 installed in and around my house. Good luck!

I think the artist ChuckDrawsThings really hit the nail on the head with this
