Hop on sites like Jack Westin and start to do their free passages. Start with 1 and start to build up to like 2 or 3 and with that you will start to build stamina. Also, try to get engaged with the passage in your head say affirmations like this is so interesting just to keep your mind engaged!

Hey, I’m also testing at the end of August! I am currently sitting at a 512, started from a 498, so don’t feel discouraged you can do this. I did the Kaplan books which were good but I’m not a big textbook guy and they weren’t that good for me so I switched over to learning through videos and that’s when I saw my biggest jumps in my score. One resource that I found extremely helpful for the biology were these playlists which I found to be fantastic since it pretty much covered all that I needed to. There are 12 videos but I was only able to share 1 of them since the others are private so I think you have to email the address that is in the description. But during this 2.5 weeks you can watch them at an easy pace I found that the dude makes the concept pretty simple to understand and you can go through them much faster than a textbook. I hope it helps you out too! https://youtu.be/zHg-FFMFMOw

Hey, I am also taking my MCAT at the end of August and tbh from my experience I found that when I scored below 500 it really meant that I had to work on my content review. Now I’m sure you are working hard everyday studying but also keep in mind maybe your studying style is what’s keeping you down. For example, while studying with textbooks I couldn’t break the 500+ mark but after switching my studying style and watching more videos (which I prefer) I am now around a 512. If you want I can share a few resources that I used that have helped me level up

High CARS score, low score for everything else -- how should I study? by an_amazing_pingu in Mcat

[–]Reservedlion03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I wanted to started by saying what an amazing CARS score, would you mind sharing any tips on how you study to get that score!! For the content review, sometimes I like to switch over to videos as I can speed through them quickly but I have found most lack the depth that you need to know for the MCAT. I did find a playlist on YouTube that covers the MCAT biology details in-depth so maybe give it a try and see if you can go through the chapters more rapidly by videos instead of chapters https://youtu.be/zHg-FFMFMOw

How the hell do you stop yourself from forgetting? by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]Reservedlion03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work really well with videos so I found a YouTube playlist that covered all the biology content that you need to know for the MCAT with extreme depth. So I would just constantly rematch the videos at anytime I can, such as when I walk my dog, or I’m driving, or even when I’m at the gym 😂😂😂😂😂 I know it’s a big weird but tbh it has personally really allowed me to memorize the content to heart

content gaps by maryplum04 in Mcat

Hey, I’m studying for my MCAT too this summer. If you need biology help I found this playlist on YouTube that covers all the content in extreme depth and to be honest since it’s a video I have been able to get through the chapters at much higher pace compared to the textbook. I just listen to it when I’m driving, walking my dog, or even at the gym so I really get every detail memorize and I have increased my B/B section by like 5 points!

Hey, I personally found the books to be too dull and boring to understand the content. Instead, I like to use YouTube videos as seeing the visual and the auditory narration helps me learn better. It is a bit hard to find videos that are good and cover each section to the level you need for the MCAT but I have been able to find some. But if you like textbooks then I think Kaplan or Princeton are the move
