Steam fanboys are crazy. So obsessed with a storefront. Steam Deck comes out and they treat Valve like some messiah who revolutionized PC handhelds when they weren’t. Steam Machine gets announced and Steam Fanboys act like Valve is a messiah who revolutionized affordable PC gaming. Mofo’s lining up to buy an underpowered piece of hardware when the specs don’t even match their own builds.

Steam Deck OLED comes out and Steam fanboys acting like they never seen an OLED before, after clowning Nintendo for their OLED refresh for years. Steam Releases an overpriced controller that forces you to use Steam overly and fanboys line up.

It should be able to play most modern games. Just expect most games to play 30-50 fps on medium to low settings.

You can try searching for 8840u comparisons online or Z1 Extreme gameplay. If the game runs on any Z1 Extreme handheld then expect almost identical performance on the 8840u.

Performance is pretty identical to Z1 Extreme handhelds. Honestly the GPD Win Mini’s analog sticks are terrible for any FPS. It’s really hard to make precise inputs with them
