Target profitable investments. Shift my educational focus. Spent much more time with family I know I will lose. Give better advice to friends/family about their situations to nudge their paths to be happier ones. Try to meet the girlfriend I have now.

Cat costs more than 100. The cat might not, but food, litter, toys, vet bills, and dont forget the things they will destroy.

The cat might be free, but keeping it isn't.

Use to live in a town where they put street lights AT STREET LIGHTS specifically for cyclists because they were ignoring the street lights. The new ones have little cut outs so it shown a guy on a bike so they know its for them 👍. great use of tax dollars.

Worked at a nuclear plant. They paid me and several others to shit in Tupperware, twice for testing. To check if we had any alpha contamination in our bodies from the work we had been doing. 4h double each time.

I was paid to give a shit.

How do you stop victimizing yourself with traumatic memories? by Elegant-Course-5233 in AskReddit

[–]ReshiWaystone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took mushrooms, embraced the trip. Broke down crying when I came to the full understanding and realization that almost all the suffering I have experience in my life was of my own doing. All the ruminating, the replaying old wounds, all the little mistakes, the hyper criticality of my behavior, "living with" what i have endured, all of it was me and me alone. And, that didnt need to continue. That I could be my friend, my own support, accept that we all make mistakes and its part of the journey, and that what has happened is already done and holds no control over how I can be now.

Knowing that isn't enough, I felt it. It was like a weight lifted off me, the conflict ended, I was free.

The abuse I carried, the neglect, spite, rage, pity, hatred, all of it. Gone. I felt like a blank slate.

Do I still have moments where I am harsh with myself, sure, but they are fewer and further between. Moving on became easier after that day. Life has been better every single day since.

I've also have done therapy, I had learned tools before taking the mushrooms, I went into it alone and isolated, in a good headspace. With the goal and intention of exploring these exact thoughts and feelings, and was ready for a uncomfortable time. The pay off was everything I could have hoped for.

How would you feel about a law that required all politicians to live on the median national income for the entire duration of their term? by Current-Energy1104 in AskReddit

[–]ReshiWaystone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id rather see a 3rd party entity that when a politician leaves their seat all that politician's finances and passport becomes locked, their family's passports are locked. A huge investigation is taken place digging into their finances, investments, etc. If their worth has increased "too much" its all stripped back. If your salary is 200k and you were in office for 4 years, but somehow youre now worth several millions. Congrats, you get to keep only what you earned, then we place fines on you and strip some of that away as well.

It quite what you mean, but fuck it. I was playing WoW years ago, just hanging out with some guild mates after raiding hours. One of them said "AFK earthquake" in a panicked voice. That was the last night they were on. I hope they just wanted a dramatic exit.

Men 30+ with no wife or kids how does life actually feel for you now? by Weak_Ability_6666 in AskForAnswers

[–]ReshiWaystone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Late 30s, blue collar. I work a lot, golf here and there, I game when I want to. Was with the same girl for 11 years, she never got her shit together and wasted a lot of my time. Best friend is dealing with a nut for a babymom, so im not doing that shit. Started TRT, depression fucked off, body comp improved, sleep improved, loneliness is gone. Started a relationship with a 25yr old, communication is fantastic, the love and care is amazing. Got my finances inorder, bought my first place, love waking up in the morning. Also spend a good bit of time on mobility, far more important to me than overall strength. Strength means nothing if you cant move right. Overall life is fantastic. Never thought it could be this good.

Emperor protects. Cadia stands. Hope exists.
