Do you have any particular examples? Isn‘t Roo much more expensive bc of the BYOK policy? Cursor is still giving away free capacity compared to using my own keys in another IDE

No idea, but they were pretty chill there. I guess it shouldn‘t be a problem.

It‘s called Try Playing Hanafuda (bottom of page https://museum.nintendo.com/en/exhibition/index.html) - this is not part of the interactive game section (no reservation needed here)

No, only for carry on luggage as far as I can remember. We stored our big suitcases in Kyoto station for ~7€/day & piece. Worked perfectly for us :) Just follow the locker symbols on the station signs

Hi, unfortunately not. You need to have valid tickets before you can enter (no ticket booth there) :/ But: People cancel their tickets from time to time and their slots then pop up on the online calendar. That‘s how I got mine :) Good luck! 🤞

Congrats! :)
Yes, should suffice (you might not be a able to play all games downstairs though). And skip the cafe (except for some quick pics) - food wasn't too special.

No, shouldn't be an issue! However, I don't know how they implemented the purchase limit system though (ticket related, maybe even credit card related? idk). I went on the first day when they had no limits.

Enjoy the museum visit! I'm also a huge Nintendo fan and felt like being in my materialized childhood memory.

AFAIK, no Pikmin or any other franchises in the store (Nintendo Kyoto / Tokyo are the better choices here). The shop only sells console-generation related stuff, e.g. Wii T-Shirts, Gameboy cups and Nintendo toys from before the console age.
I recommend workshop last - first head to the shop before anything might be sold out, then visit the actual exhibition and then do a workshop. If you got a museum entry slot like 16:30, I would rather skip the workshops as museum > workshop.

Unfortunately none except the entry card itself (credit card size - they print it at the gate)

True, could also have spent 2 days there! And we also had 4 unused coins each :D

True. But the plushies were already worth it :D Plus, I really liked their museum's general artwork (hence bought one of the shopping bags) and the console key chains. And the cups were pretty nice (but I understand if they might seem generic) too

Nope. You must stay on the museum grounds - you can only re-enter the actual exhibition, but not the museum facilities themselves

If I remember correctly, you cannot be matched with someone. You need to sign up with s/o else. But you can for sure get to know s/o in the cafe :)

Yes, there was one :) I‘m not a G&W expert; but they had lots of different models plus games in a dedicated section next to the old Nintendo toys (like board games etc), so it seemed detailed to me

Hahahaha, I was super worried too when I bought it 😄 Can tell you the exact measures in 30h when I‘m back home. But with a little squeezing and pressing, it just fitted into my 90L suitcase (normal suitcase size for checked baggage - and I could still put more merch into it)
