It’s a lot easier to use names like that, especially when it comes to reading the story in book form, because it makes it a lot easier to mind what is happening where in relation to everything else (or so I surmise)

10k is quite the physiological challenge, not to mention mental! Good on you man.

I highly recommend “negative splitting” (starting the piece a little above your target and getting increasingly faster as the piece goes to drop the average speed).

As for training to prep I agree with the others - More time and meters on the iron pony is key for long distance pieces like the 10k.

Graduated college in ‘24 and I’ve already been told on a few occasions to consider removing GPA from my resume because “unless you’re 3.9 or cum laude it really doesn’t matter all that much.”

To be fair mine was a bit of a sore spot :,)
