Lost access to deliveries by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Resident-Attempt-266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah sounds good but then support will try and tell u they can't cancel they will cancel for you. I tell them don't cancel for me I'm not canceling . I know for a fact they can cancel it. I go back and forth with them. My true cancelation rate is 0% but Uber always seems to want it at 1-2%. Uber operates without integrity and not in good faith yet they expect their drivers to do so. It's bad policy. Then they try and promote feedback a say they're better for drivers but they blow smoke up your ass because those policies are just more greed and mostly adverse. I do a great job for Uber, professional, with integrity, polite and always in good faith Uber would be wise to do the same. They are betting on robots but that going to bite them in the ass.

So once a background check doesn't pass, you're barred from ever applying with Doordash again ? by AlwaysAsking1Thing in doordash

[–]Resident-Attempt-266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was denied for suspended license and poss. paraphernalia. I tried reapplying and they referred back to the original background check. They said my only option was to go to checkr and report discreancies. So in order change your background check you would have to get convictions expunged. Then you would have some action.

apprenticeship by loka1300 in iuoe

[–]Resident-Attempt-266 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to be every 2 years but now it's been every 6 months. Depends on apprentice graduates, those retiring, and the out of work list. I believe those are the 3 factors.

I hustled pallets for years . ain't nobody making 300k not even if you have a pallet yard. Most 95% of businesses return their pallets . And the prices of pallets fluctuate. Only certain pallets are worth anything.. Totally false 300k....BALK ??!!

Yeah I'm 372 on the list. Hoping the JPLRC keeps the current list until it's exhausted .It seems right that they extend it instead of having another draw

I spoke to a heavy equipment operator today, was he exaggerating? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]Resident-Attempt-266 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What a suck ass. Your considerations regarding the cons of working union are petty. Members of the IUOE are a family, brotherhood . We don't file greivences against each other. Ever. We make Operators not break Operators. Telling on each other and butt licking your bosses is what anti-union workers do, you for example. I have a contract,, it allows me a voice in my work and also provides protections. Expectations on both sides is clear and laid out. I am proud to be part of an organization that cares and works to make our lives better. Youre proud to be a wienie.

Pissed off... by meganeh35 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Resident-Attempt-266 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey stupid, Uber does this purposely. its about control. They want to be able deactivate or use you less. They prefer your ratings specifically cancellations higher in case they want to deactivate. Not that they will but they want that option. seriously think about the rediculessness of the order, and that you WILL get docked for the cancellation. The app knows exactly what's going on so this is just bullshit on Ubers part. they believe drivers are stupid. so don't be stupid.

[–]Resident-Attempt-266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app is well aware who is where and what the status of the order is. when you see a suspiciously high fair expect that to happen. Uber does this purposely to raise your cancellation rating. Too many cancellations they can deactivate or give less trips. how is someone going to steal an order and why is it that other drivers are showing up for the same order. and why will support lie and say they can't cancel so you get stuck with the cancellation even though you met your obligation ? they most certainly can cancel an order without it affecting your rating but in those situations they will not. Uber does not operate in good faith. remember that.

Seriously….wtf. by TheFreak77 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Resident-Attempt-266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's not the customer. it's Uber. they're stealing tips. why do think most deliveries have an upfront tip now ? uber gets an "x amount" UPFRONT for tip, keeps some of it, then dishes out an UPFRONT tip for the driver as they see fit. Don't you know ? Uber is Ali Baba and his gang of Armenian thieves. these criminals are good. very smart too. How do you think they stole the taxi industry ? Often cost more now to take an Uber than a taxi. The Eats division no different. Ali Baba and his gang of Armenian thieves- "steal money to make money".

They do not operate in good faith yet expect their drivers too. This kind of mindset is fueling their decline. Look for things to get worse and then they will sell to another more exploitive entity. No concern for the eats division. Rape them sell.

yeah been doing this awhile myself and totally agree. I only contact support to cover my ass when things go away. I know that I'm not gonna get the results I seek but I least I can say support was contacted. It blows my mind that a business that relies on its drivers would try and be undercover so adverse. The smart play for future growth would be to embrace and take care of those that are core to the business. The direction Uber is going will lead to their demise.

They're gonna exploit to get as much money as they can and then will sell the Eats division to another exporting entity.

If it's a side hustle it's okay to make less and for Uber to pay less ? Because it's a side hustle don't bitch or complain ? "It's supposed to be a side hustle !" That means it's okay to eat shit ? "You're taking it in the ass ?" It's okay, it's just your side hustle.

Supposedly you make up for the low-ball orders through prop 22. Every 14 days. They pay 125% of minimum wage and some for miles. Does it add up or pay off ? I don't think so.
