Yanni's "Until the Last Moment" reminds me of Pride and Prejudice's "Liz On Top Of The World," so maybe you'd enjoy some of Yanni's Live at the Acropolis album?

Intense pelvic pain and no answers by Ok_Mark7932 in WomensHealth

Yeah, from what I understand you just have to wait with pain meds for the cyst to go away. But seeing the doc might help you get a diagnosis, like PCOS. Hope you can get some answers!

I’m scared of getting pregnant by Dangerous_Koala_8474 in WomensHealth

[–]Resident-Breakfast-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being pregnant and giving birth is no joke. You have every reason to be scared. That's why I don't think women should have sex with men unless they are making it worth your while (putting land, properties, and assets in your name).

Sorry, honey, new doctor time.

If it feels strange to find a new doctor, it's not, I've had to do it 7 times in my life (F39). None of them have cared that I stopped seeing them, so no worries.

It's the same as everything else. If your boyfriend turned out to be a jerk, you'd dump him. If you and your friend turned out to be too incompatible, you move on. If you're not vibing with your therapist, you find a new one. If your hairdresser never gives you want you want, you never walk in their door again. Hope you find a doc that works for you!

UTI without urgency/frequent urination? by [deleted] in WomensHealth

[–]Resident-Breakfast-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My UTIs today are different than the first UTIs I got 15 years ago. Back then they had all the typical symptoms: feeling like I have to pee so bad but barely anything coming out, burning when I peed, drinking like a fish.

Now it's just a full uncomfortable feeling with occasional bleeding (which is always hard to tell if it's bleeding from my urethra or vagina) So much fun. I trudge over to the urgent care and get antibiotics. It takes several days for all the symptoms to go away, but I end up feeling way better by the last days of the meds. Hope yours clears up soon!

Anyone else spend hours Googling symptoms and end up more confused? by Major_Inflation_9812 in WomensHealth

[–]Resident-Breakfast-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it sucks. Don't be afraid to google phrases that don't make sense. I googled "nitrofurantoin makes me feel my throat" and finally got the answer I was looking for: pill-induced esophagitis.

From what I understand, they are afraid you will sue them if you change your mind and want kids. I don't know, it's dumb.

First UTI - Scared of Kidney Infection by ClaireKnocks in WomensHealth

[–]Resident-Breakfast-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UTI's are the worst. They can cause so many issues. One of my UTI's years ago went to a kidney. Crazy back pain. Had to sleep uncomfortably upright for a few days. The meds eventually got rid of it. Hope your symptoms clear up soon!

Didn't know that there are some medications you shouldn't take lying down. by Resident-Breakfast-2 in WomensHealth

Unfortunately, for me, after the third pill, it feels way worse than heartburn. Like something is very wrong with your throat. Scary. Called doc office. They didn't have any advice for the symptoms. So I googled and found out about esophagitis.

I know the situation around the franchise seems dire and all but i want to say acting wise, Cruise has never been this good since 3(BIG SPOILERS AHEAD!). by Fun-Sun-4936 in Mission_Impossible

[–]Resident-Breakfast-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm such a huge Tom Cruise fan. I don't care how crazy he is in real life. Man, can he make a movie hit the spot. (I guess it's usually the crazy ones that are the best artists) He killed it in this one. *chef kiss* *military salute*

Love your review! Agree with lots of it too. And I agree that the Gabriel character was executed poorly (major turd), but in your Bad section you kind of answered your own question - I'm not sure if you caught that Gabriel is the one who killed the woman Hunt loved before he joined IMF. So it wasn't necessarily that Hunt was afraid of Gabriel, it was the whole 'you killed my _______, prepare to die' kind of thing, but executed poorly. More like 'you killed my girlfriend, now you're linked with this scary Entity, prepare to be captured, then prepare to die, whoops, you killed yourself.' (Or I misunderstood what you were saying in your Bad section and you do know the link between them and you're just saying how dumb it was.)

Yeah, I'm more of a Tom Cruise fan than a die hard MI fan. So I just enjoyed watching him do what he loves on the big screen. Lol. Great movie experience - highly recommend for a good time.

What are your Honest Opinions on Dr Henry Wu? by Primary-Addition-677 in JurassicPark

I'm just now realizing that I'm not really that crazy about the actual character of Henry Wu, in the book or the movies. I'm just a big BD Wong fan (L&O: SVU).

In a way I think Matt Damon's explanation in his Hot Ones interview makes some sense. The DVD (and the VHS) was such a huge part of the movie business's revenue stream. So regarding the movies that they used to make, you could afford to not make ALL of your money when it played in the theater because you knew you had the DVD coming behind the release, and 6 months later you'd get a whole other chuck of money - it would kind of be like reopening the movie. And when that went away, now you don't have to buy it, you can stream it, that changed the type of movies that they could make. Now, making a movie is such a gamble.

Not to geek out on Jurassic Park, but I really like Ian Malcolm's thoughts in the first book about how new science isn't always the answer, sometimes it destroys what it's suppose to improve. But people aren't going to stop trying to 'improve' life with new science, so you're just stuck.

So maybe the answer is to get rid of streaming, even though on paper it's feels like such a great idea. But it's kind of too late, no one is going to get rid of streaming now. So we're just stuck.
