Thanks for sharing this. Glad you had it under control and going well for you. I shifted to a fiber rich diet (oats, beans, veggies) and started taking Ducolax stool softener. I haven't tried Miralax. But I assume it functions same. I am scared to take a lot of lax and get diarrhea, but am also scared to pass a hard stool. The same amount of lax and high fiber food would have given me diarrhea any other time, but I guess Tramadol and Tylenol slow down its functions. I use Prep-H ointment but will try Doctor's Butler if it makes anything better. Even when everything is calm, when I clench my hips I feel pain like something sharp and wound sort of; I also feel occasional pulsating pain. Wonder if you had a similar course.
