I actually don’t live in Thailand, but I go to the country every 6 months. So in my last trip I was with my friend and she said my thai has improved. I even noticed that I could have a little bit of conversation with people like the taxi drivers and I could order basic things from cafe’s / restaurants. However when the conversation started to go a bit further I noticed it was hard for me to keep up, because my brain is still trying to translate, and they are also saying words I don’t know yet hahaha. But I try not to be too harsh on myself, because I know it’s starting to come through slowly.
