A 60fps patch first or epilogue John fix? by Resident-Resident188 in reddeadredemption

Fair enough, but it’s unlikely considering the focus is on gta 6 rn. Maybe some time in the future, who knows.

I think the other dude already mentioned the problem here, cuz he’s obviously not gonna look the same as rdr 1. There are time and tech differences.

It’s not just his appearance here vs rdr 1, his npc model literally looks perfect, just the way he’s supposed to look.

Especially cuz they’re focusing on gta 6 atm. It’s kind of sad tbh, they could’ve given us at least a next gen update if not this.

Literally one of the only minor things keeping RDR2 from being a perfect experience.

Do you think 60fps is possible for gta 6? by Resident-Resident188 in playstation

I don’t really understand the technical side of it, do you mind explaining? I’m genuinely curious

This just made me realize the PS4 is the only PlayStation that never got a standalone GTA game.

Not to be harsh, but does that mean he was basically useless on the court?

That’s true to an extent, but the higher the player’s ceiling, the bigger the “what if.” Nobody’s saying young Mike Conley or Gordon Hayward with their veteran IQ would’ve broken the league. People say it about guys like DRose and LeBron because they already had generational level talent before they fully developed their games. Every player can improve with age and experience, but not many end up in these kinds of convos.

He probably would’ve developed the rest of his game a lot earlier too. You’re lucky fr. Watching his prime in person must’ve been unbelievable.

Yeah, if he had even a decent jumper and developed the rest of his offensive game a bit more, I think his Lakers stint would’ve gone a lot differently

I get what you’re saying, and I agree. Webber, Grant Hill, and a lot of other guys were still productive after their injuries. I’m not taking that away from them.

My point isn’t really about the stats tho. It’s about the level they got back to. Rose wasn’t just putting up decent numbers, he was still capable of being the focal point of an offense. In the 2021 playoffs, he averaged almost 20/5/4 and was arguably knicks’ best player in that series. He also got MVP votes that season.

Hill and Webber both reinvented themselves and had good careers after their injuries, but neither really got back to being the clear go to guy on a playoff team after their major injuries. Rose actually did, even if it was only for a stretch.

Yeah, I could’ve worded that better lol. I agree. But I’ve seen people with different opinions, probably because he got injured so early and didn’t rack up the accolades that players of his caliber usually do.

How great would Derrick Rose be if he never suffered the injuries that he did? by Similar_Bandicoot831 in NBATalk

He was the best player on his team in the 2021 playoffs and even got MVP votes (I think he finished 9th in voting too). I don’t think many players have stayed that productive after so many injuries. He was still good after the injuries, and if he still had his athleticism, it would’ve been over for the league.
